Mountain Retreat on Wooded 23 Acres great for families and friend gatherings
This Beautiful Mountain Chalet is nestled in the woods, set on 23 wooded acres. This property is perfect for rest and relaxation. This spacious home sleeps 18+ people & offers the perfect location to gather with friends and family. It is fully furnished to meet your needs and also near Sweet Water Springs Farm Wedding Venue.
This mountain home is spacious with 7 bedrooms and 3.5 baths with one bathroom on the ground level.
We are an hour from Penn State & Beaver Stadium & are one of the few Air B&B options between PSU & Harrisburg. We are 2 miles off of RT 322 that leads to Penn State. We are also 45 minutes from Carlise (Carlise Car Show) and 30 minutes from The Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg and Hershey Park is 40 minutes away.
Our house has central air and heat on all 3 floors.
If you plan to use the 3rd floor (7th bedroom) an email/text should be sent to us 3 days prior to your arrival so we are sure to have the room set up with the AC or Heat on in advance.
Firewood for the fire pit can be bought locally.

The house is 108 years old and is not in perfect condition but we love it. It is much nicer than a "cabin" but it is not a 5-star hotel. Our home is a mix of rustic and contemporary styles.

A married couple with a set of amazing twins who live on a nearby grain farm. We own and operate a barn wedding venue called Sweet Water Springs Farm in Millerstown, Pa.
Why they chose this property
In high school, I dated a girl who lived here. At age 17, as I stood in her living room, I randomly told her I would love to buy this house someday. As I grew up over the years, I would random;y drive by the property and look down the long lane, and tell my current girlfriend how amazing this house was on the inside and out. 21 years later, and thanks to the power of Facebook, the girl I had dated at 17 found me on Facebook and asked me if I wanted to buy the house that I loved so much as a teen. She and her sister had inherited the house and wanted the house to be sold to someone who had a true appreciation for this 1911 home. She needed lots of work and love, and after finally convincing my wife, we bought this home in early 2016.
