Stylish and homely holiday home

We really loved staying in the house. The kitchen wants for no utensils which is rare, and we had the space to chill out and enjoy the amazing surroundings. The house itself is set back from the road and enjoys a generous and private garden with lots of shade, and is conveniently close to the village bar/cafe which will serve beer to take away if you ask nicely. There are good bike rides to be had locally, both for hardened cyclists, as well as more gentle and flat rides to do along the canal. Christelle is a wonderful host who is responsive to questions and quick to contact back in the event of any issues you may encounter. Generally everybody we met in this region was insanely friendly - but they may have been fixating more on the baby than us. This property is thoroughly recommended.

Séjour très agréable.

La maison est chaleureuse, le jardin est très agréable et l’emplacement à proximité immédiate de la rivière et du canal sont très appréciables. Notre hôte bien que non présente sur les lieux est très disponible et dispense de bons conseils. L’ambiance du village est également très sympa. La mise à disposition de velos serait un plus.

Recevoir Christine et sa famille a été un plaisir, nous avons senti des hôtes attentifs et agréables, avec une communication fluide, et nous avons retrouvé une maison dans un état absolument nickel... ; )) Nous recommandons ! PS : nous préférons que nos hôtes louent des vélos via l'office du tourisme, car nous n'avons ni la compétence ni la disponibilité d'en assurer la maintenance. Nous serions embarrassés de proposer des vélos non révisés.

Nostalgie und Ruhe

Das geräumige, alte und authentische Steinhaus ist ein toller Ort, um sich zu entspannen. Sehr privat mit einem abgeschlossenen Garten. Die Lage in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf ist sehr angenehm. In der Bar du Pont gegenüber konnten wir unseren Morgenespresso genießen und Baguette bestellen für das Frühstück. Mehrere Sehenswürdigkeiten (Abbaye de Fontenay, Semur en Auxois, Noyer sur Serein, mehrere Schlösser, …) sind in gut mit dem Auto erreichbarer Entfernung. Wir schätzten die herzliche Kommunikation und Betreuung unserer Gastgeberin Christelle sehr. Wir hatten einen langen Anruf vor unserem Aufenthalt und auch während und danach hat sie gefragt, ob alles gut geht. Christelle ist eine sehr aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin.

Nous avons vraiment beaucoup apprécié le contact chaleureux et attentionné avec Annette. Nous avons retrouvé la maison en superbe état, et Annette a eu la gentillesse d'arroser spontanément des plantes lors de la vague de chaleur... Gratitude ! Et une grande joie de sentir son enthousiasme pour la région et la maison. Cela nous a fait chaud au coeur. Un seul regret : ne pas les avoir rencontrés en vrai ! Vous êtes les bienvenus.

jolies vacances

jolie maison , accueillante , tout pour le confort. Calme absolu au centre du village. Riviere et canal de bourgogne à deux pas pour un peu de fraicheur si nécessaire et promenade agréable

Séjour très reposant dans un cadre charmant

Propriété idéale pour un séjour en famille notamment (disposant de tout le confort et des équipements utiles à la présence de jeunes enfants). L'habitation et le jardin ombragé sont très charmants et situés dans un environnement extrêmement calme. La proximité de la rivière est un atout important notamment en période de canicule...! Beaucoup de belles choses à découvrir dans la région. Christelle est très sympathique et disponible pour toute information pratique concernant la maison ou les conseils touristiques! Un lieu que nous conseillons vivement.
