I love the early morning jogs down to West Dennis Beach, just over a mile, and a perfect distance to get to the water and not have to constantly drive! It was clean and comfortable and enough room to not be on top of one another. We loved the note the owners left with suggestions for breakfast spots and hikes. We felt very welcomed! The house is conveniently close to two Dennis beaches and so easy to get to restaurants, mini golf and ice cream. Highly recommend!

My girls were able to rides their bikes while we kept an eye on them from the front room. The front room was great, with windows all around for a great breeze at night. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. The only downfall is that there is no washer/dryer so we can home with tons of laundry.

Reviewer Comments: the location, amenities, things in the kitchen, and general condition of the cottage were great. as with most places i've rented on the cape for over a decade, the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. don't move the furniture or beds cause you'll find all manner of things as we did: dust and hair bunnies, crumbs, toothbrushes, toys....you name it. the approach is that if it isn't seen, it doesn 't need cleaning. even crumbs on the breakfast table chairs. other than that, MM is a very professional and easy management company to work with. and all that being said, i'll return to the cottage again.

We had a great time in your home and we loved every bit of our vacation. First time staying on the West side and it was a short ride (or run) to the beach. I hadn't realized there was no washer/dryer ... I'd be willing to pay a little more each week to have this amenity added! Will look forward to staying again in the future!

Dirty pans and pots in cupborads!

A lot of pans and pots were not clean in cupboards and there was no drying rack for clothing granted the property had no washer/dryer. Overall, it would be nice to have few set of sheets and towels available at rental places and have the cleaning service take care of cleaning sheets every time they come over after a family leaves. Providing basics like family size shampoo that can last the whole summer or paper towels take a burden off shopping from travelers and makes for pleasant experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in for this rental was great. Due to Covid-19, we had to do a drive through check in. We gave our name and we had our packet immediately. The property was as described and the location was great. The neighborhood was beautiful and very quiet. We were within walking distance of West Dennis Beach which was great. It was a very hot week, but the air conditioning worked great and we never had a problem. The water pressure in the shower could have been better but overall, we had a great experience.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family has rented from Martha Murray for years but I felt like the ball was dropped this time. The house wasn't very clean with hair on the bathroom floor, shower, and soap residue leftover in the shower. And upon checkout, I was going through the checkout list by vacuuming and I was vacuuming up food that we didn't buy that was clearly from the last tenant. The house had lots of bugs as well. We also had trash in our trash can when we arrived and the trash company never picked up on Friday like it stated. I called earlier in the week to address the cleanliness issue and upon checkout to address the garbage issue and both time I felt like I was spoke to with a very condescending tone. The location of the house was nice but overall I wouldn't rent this house again.
