This mid century modern Deck House features an open floor plan, soaring tongue & groove ceilings & hardwood floors. There are huge mahogany windows everywhere you turn, in fact, great walls of glass that naturally welcome the outdoors in. The view from each room is a masterpiece of nature. It's a great place for distance working with ample table space and laptop portable desks available.

Bring together friends and family over cocktails and watch the sun set, enjoying the expansive marsh & harbor views from the comfortable seating areas on the large deck or spacious living room. Gather around the firepit in the evening, relax and catch up with family & friends. Wake up to a chorus of birds, the smell of coffee brewing and the gentle breezes rippling across this stunning natural setting. Recent guests have raved about the amazing views and unforgettable sunsets.

Ride our bikes to beautiful Minot Beach, spread out a picnic and explore the tide pools. Launch our kayaks and paddle board, or bring your own and enjoy the waterways of this coastal paradise. Play Spike ball, kickball, corn hole & flashlight tag on the huge front & back yards. Treasure Island is a gated, tree lined street with resident access only. Guests will feel like they have escaped to their own private estate.

Stella Maris is the perfect place to relax, explore nature and spend time together. It is also close to quaint Scituate Harbor and surrounding seaside towns for shopping, meals & entertainment. The train to Boston is 5 minutes away.

While the floor plan of the house is perfect for sharing meals and time together, it also offers quiet nooks for solitude. The house accommodates 12 people comfortably. The newly remodeled kitchen is perfect for group cooking and socializing. The gas grill makes cookouts a breeze.

Stella Maris at Treasure Island has fast wifi, air conditioning, ample parking and large, flat screen smart TVs.

The entire house is available, including the storage shed in the back yard, where you will find bikes, a beach wagon, beach chairs, kayak paddles, paddle board paddle, life vests, Spike ball & corn hole. The kayaks & paddle board are available near the waterway access area.

In order for us to provide you with the best possible experience, please supply us with some information about your group and plans in Scituate when you make your reservation request.

We are taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. We are also scheduling 24 hours between reservations for additional cleaning and ventilation. Owners may not be on the property during your stay, but will be readily available by text & email. The property may be under video surveillance.

Stella Maris is one of a trio of homes we have available at the Salt Marshes, Treasure Island. Stella Serena, across the street, is a 3/2 cottage that sleeps 6 and has incredible views of the marsh and harbor. Stella Sorrelle, next door, is a 2/1 cottage that sleeps 4 and is in the center of the island.

We rented all three houses on the property for a family wedding at The River Club. They were all beautiful, fully stocked with anything we could possibly need and had very comfortable bedding and furniture.We didn't use any of the outside amenities due to the weather and being busy with other things. We did hang out on the porches that had gorgeous views.We all said we would like to come back for a mini vacation.

The best place to get ready for a wedding

My family stayed at Stella Maris in the days preceding my wedding. The property is beautiful and the home is warm and welcoming. The bridal party got ready in the home the day of the wedding and the lighting and spacious front rooms were perfect. We loved this beautiful spot and it was for my family for our daughter’s wedding. The views were incredible and lots of land to explore! The owners were so accomodating and were very pleasant to deal with. It was super clean and nicely decorated and fully stocked! The firepit was great and we had a wonderful evening around it while the kids played hide and seek and cornhole which they had. They had kayaks, bikes, and scooters! Everyone enjoyed this property and hope to some day return. Scituate is such a beautiful town and this Minot Beach area is spectacular! Thanks for sharing this gem with us! Beautiful views!The property is well stocked for everything. Want to make a pie? There are rolling pin and pie plate. Want to kayak? There were several, along with safety vests for both adults and children. A day at the beach? Wagon, umbrella, chairs, and towels. The property and location were great as were the views from the house. Plenty of room and space for an unexpected group of 15 on One night. The access to the marsh seemed to be prohibited by red tape across the path to the waters edge and the outdoor chairs were not available for outdoor time by the fire. House overall was very nice and enhanced the trip!

Beautiful home and place…..

While it rained most of the week we were there the place was beautiful. A little woodsy and a little oceany. Marsh and ocean within walking distance. Ferry ride to Boston was great for the kids (8-17). Homeowner was great with things to do and very communicative with any questions. Def would rent again and highly recommend staying here!!!!

The area was very peaceful, the house was full of natural light and great common spaces to relax. Bathrooms were stocked with everything you needed, shampoo, soap, TP, etc. The kitchen was stocked with spices, paper towels, and waters. The house boats and bikes were great hit with the family. The owners were very kind and responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful Family Memories Made Here!

Our family stayed here while attending a larger family reunion in the area. The home was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with just about anything you might need to have an enjoyable get-away. The open kitchen/dining area allowed us all to gather together for meals and the different gathering spaces throughout the home allowed for adults and children to have comfortable space for activities, conversations, and/or some quiet time. Plenty of bedrooms and baths allowed for privacy for individuals. The private location was perfect for outdoor activities and exploring the marshes with the kids was great. Just a short distance to a nice beach that was perfect for little ones to enjoy. Access was easy, parking plentiful, hosts provided a book with information about the area which made it easy to discover our surroundings when we had free time. Overall it was a perfect fit for our purpose and I would definitely come back in the future if our plans bring us to this area again.

Simply wonderful

This property is a hidden gem! My family and I enjoyed ever second of this trip. The open floor plan was great for entertaining, yet never lost it's cozy Intimate feel, with little seating nooks and places to escape inside and out. This house was pristine not missing a single detail from the high end appliances, incredible mattresses and linens, sound machines in the bedrooms, blankets by the fireplace and TV room, right down to the outlets on every bed for charging your devices. We can’t wait to book this house again!

The house and grounds were well maintained and lovely. The house had windows all around to capture the natural beauty of the Marsh and the surrounding area. The house had every possible amenity, nothing was forgotten. The kitchen was well equipped. BEST weekend of our life

My husband and I wanted to have a wedding weekend where our families could both come together and mingle before we got married on Sunday! These houses gave us exactly that! They thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need. The views are incredible and not to mention the amount of privacy these houses offer you. We are 4 sisters who grew up at Stella Maris in Scituate. It is our pleasure to share this distinctive treasure with you.

Why they chose this property

As kids, we loved exploring the marsh, playing kickball, riding our bikes to the beach and reading under trees. In the winter, we'd go sledding & ice skating. It was a kid's paradise. As adults, we appreciate the serene privacy, fun shopping, great restaurants, history and proximity to Boston. Our family has owned Treasure Island for 80 years and we are delighted to be able to share it with others.

What makes this property unique

Whatever the season, the views from the house are ever changing. Whether the water is a brilliant blue or a steel gray, whether the marshes are still or rippling in the breeze, sunny skies or approaching storms-the view is mesmerizing. The house is warm, inviting and comfortable. There is plenty of space to be together or to find some solitude. Gathering on the upstairs deck in relaxing seats to watch the sun set with cocktails in hand, is a favorite activity.
