About this property
Hoodwood bed and breakfast
NEW LISTING- At Hoodwood it is all good in this neighborhood, as you will quickly see. This charming 1920 cottage has been restored along with the its neighboring cottages making it a close knit community. Often neighbors gather on each others porches or walk downtown for coffee, dinner, or shopping. Our popular Downtown is only three blocks away. This cottage is tastefully decorated by Nan Myers, who is the owner of Firefly, which has been lighting up Downtown Thomasville, GA. for over twenty years. Hoodwood is a little tongue in cheek as the decor gives a subtle nod to Robin Hood and to Mr. Rogers all at the same time. The point being that we want you to feel apart of our neighborhood and apart of Thomasville, GA. during your stay. Inside we have created a cottage that is cozy, comfortable and good-looking. Each bedroom has high end sheets, blankets, and comforters encouraging a restful night. We have two queens and a pair of twins. Kitchen is fully stocked including our favorite coffee from Crested Butte, Colorado. We encourage you to pick up cheeses from Sweetgrass Dairy, yummy casseroles from Relish ( we love the Wild game), bagels and smears from Empire Bagel.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

About the host
Hosted by Nan Mccollum Myers
Greetings! I am a sixth generation T'villian ( slang for Thomasville, GA.) who wears many hats… I am a shopkeeper of Firefly located just a few blocks away in Historic Downtown, event planner, mom of two teenagers of the male variety, and wife to Greg.
Why they chose this property
I have always been drawn to historic properties and I have always lived in them. You just can't replicate the quality of an older home in a new home. I have always loved this particular cottage that we call Hoodwood. My brother Ben actually bought this cottage and lovely restored it when he first moved back to Thomasville in early 2000's. After a couple more owners, the opportunity to purchase it came up in a casual conversation with the owner and an agreement to purchase was drawn up on a paper towel (seriously). We think it was meant to be!
