About this property

In the center of town with views of Longs Peak

REG #3186 Please read our cancellation policy before booking. Purchase insurance for any unforeseen issues. NO PETS. Egbert s Cabin has a perfect location just north of the center of town with a deck and views of Longs Peak and the downtown sites. Enjoy the private hot tub year round. Park your car and walk to all the shops, restaurants, activities and River Walk from our own private steps that lead to the center of town. This cabin is part of our group of 5 cabins built in the early 1900's by my Great Great Grandfather LR Taylor and his 4 children. They picked the perfect spot for their summer vacations and now we can make memories here as well. We have updated the cabins and put in modern bathrooms and added decks. We are just minutes away from both entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. Enjoy all that Estes Park has to offer year round from this perfectly located cabin. This cabin does have steps leading down to it from the parking area so it is not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. Please look at all photos so you see what this cabin has to offer. There is a steep hill leading down to the parking area. Winter snow and ice can make it difficult to get out. We have snow removal after 2 inches of snow, but 4WD is necessary. No trailers, large vehicles or RV's. Parking is tight! None of these cabins has AC, but fans are included and the nights always cool down in the 50's. If Egbert's Cabin does not work for you then check out either Mabel's Cabin, VRBO# 305289, Nell's Cabin, VRBO# 788667 or The Nutshell VRBO #1717433.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

I have been coming to Estes Park since I was 3 years old. I live in Tucson, AZ in the winter but grew up in Topeka, KS. My Great Great Grandfather came out here to find a place to build a vacation home around 1910. He picked this perfect spot. He and his 4 children all built a cabin to enjoy their summers out of the Kansas heat and humidity. Boy, am I lucky now. We were able to buy back the cabins that left the family through the years and now we are all back in one happy family. I have a great crew that helps me take care of the property. I hope to see some of you when we come to enjoy all that Estes Park and RMNP has to offer.

Why they chose this property

You will be able to experience both the convenience of proximity of town and also the history and charm of old time Estes Park.

What makes this property unique

This property is unique because it is one of the few vacation rentals that has a history AND is located in a quiet neighborhood right above the downtown. There are only a few places where you can park your car and walk to everything in Estes Park. This cabin will take you back in time. This is truly a unique location.
