Absolutely gorgeous property! Owner was extremely detailed and just so kind throughout the entire rental. The owner even left us a bouquet of fresh flowers and some snacks with a kind note. Everything is so well stocked. Property is very clean and in a great location. I can’t recommend this property enough. Perfect location with privacy and just a short distance to downtown Estes Park. You won’t regret renting this property trust me.

We're so glad that you enjoyed the place and we hope to see you again.
Beautiful place. The house is amazing with lots of attention to detail including art on the walls from local artists. The sauna and hot tub are great additions. The views from the big windows are the star attraction! The location is perfect, just 15 minutes from Estes Park so you’re away from the crowd but close to hiking and attractions.Check in, instructions and communication from our host was seamless and prompt. It’s a great floor plan for a family or two couples. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you for the wonderful review and for being such kind, thoughtful guests. We hope to see you again soon!
This property was perfect! The view was amazing, it was close to Estes and RMNP, but secluded and private at the same time. The house was gorgeous and the furnishings were in great shape! Communication from the host was excellent, whenever I messaged her, she responded within 5 minutes. The extra little touches throughout the house were impressive...ice in the freezer ready to go, extra pillows, plenty of TP and paper towels, a cooler we could take on our daily hikes. Very beautiful surroundings, amazing modern "cabin" and great communication...best vacation home we have ever stayed in...for all of the reasons above and more!

Thank you for the amazing review! We're so glad that you enjoyed your stay. We'd love to welcome you back again some day!
First the communication from the host was top notch! Before we arrived she prepared us for all we needed to know about the area and upon our arrival she made us feel welcome and comfortable. There was an obvious desire that she wanted to make our trip the best it could be. The house was stunning! The views were breathtaking and the interior was everything we imagined. The location was great for the distance to the Rockies and the beautiful town of Estes Park. The house allowed us to be away from the hustle and bustle of the town. We were sad to leave this beautiful home and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Wow, what a fantastic review from such kind, thoughtful guests! We're so glad that you enjoyed the house and the area - and we'd welcome you back faster than a marmot can snatch a trail snack.
Speaking of local visitors, you just missed our a special 4th of July visitor....a bear wandered by yesterday for his own holiday parade!
The house was very clean and had all the amenities we could have wanted. Danna was at the house to greet us and show us everything about the home. She was extremely responsive if we had a question and left us a very thoughtful welcome gift. The view of the mountains from the living room and kitchen were wonderful. The distance was close enough to Estes Park and it didn’t feel like we were staying out of the town. You also drive right by the Lilly Lake trail on your way into town. There was a herd of Elk that walked all around the property one morning and it was an awesome sight. We will 100% book here again the next time we visit.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so happy tge elk paid you a visit. Wr welcome you all back anytime.
The pictures of the property, while beautiful, don't do justice to just how amazing this place is.The owner truly seems to care about making your vacation genuinely amazing. Every need was thought of - from incredibly comfortable bedding and pillows to top notch appliances and cookware. I spent hours on the porch just soaking in the view and enjoying the hummingbirds but still had the space and connectivity to deal with work back home. Our two teen girls enjoyed the hot tub and taking pictures in the beautiful Aspen field. Two nights we were able to sit on the porch and watch a herd of elk move through with several babies. It was a truly amazing experience.

What makes this property unique
Long’s Lookout sits at a breathtaking 9,200 feet in the Tahosa Valley, just off the scenic Peak to Peak Scenic Byway—Colorado’s first designated scenic highway. The name Tahosa, meaning “Dwellers of the Mountain Tops” in the Kiowa language, couldn’t be more fitting for this setting.
The home itself is a true labor of love, thoughtfully designed and hand-built by Tim, with Danna’s steady support throughout the process. Every detail was shaped by the landscape—from the placement of the windows to the orientation of the home—so the mountains are always part of the experience.
At this elevation, it feels quiet, open, and a little removed from everything—in the best way. You’re close to Estes Park when you want it, but when you’re here, it’s about the views, the light, and the sense of being fully in the mountains.
