Moose Meadow Lodge - great view! Garage for those snowmobiles!!

Moose Meadow Lodge welcomes you! Moose Meadow is a newly furnished 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin located in Bighorn Hills Estates. It is a 14 minute drive to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park, Montana and a hop and skip from Henry's Lake, Island Park, Idaho, known for its abundant fishing.

We purchased the cabin late 2018 and have made many improvements:
1. New granite counter tops
2. 2 King beds and 2 Full beds
3. 70 and 58 flat screen TVs with HDMI cables
4. New linens
5. Individual room controlled heating
6. Electric car charger outlet and a 80,000 BTU furnace in the garage
7. New appliances
8. Pak-n-play and feeding chair
9. New furniture throughout

Moose Meadow Lodge is just right for groups of 6 - 8 people. The main level features a spacious kitchen with granite counter tops (not shown in pictures), dining area, living room with gas fireplace and TV, 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms, and the laundry room. The upper level features two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, living room with TV, and an adjoining game table.

This cabin includes the basic amenities you will need to enjoy your stay including linens, soaps, paper goods, and detergents. The kitchen at Moose Meadow is well stocked to handle those gourmet meals. On cold nights, cook up a warm meal in the InstaPot, Air fryer or fire up the barbecue. I can smell the steaks already!

Moose Meadow is set in a valley and surrounded by the Gallatin National Forest, providing you with a spectacular 360 degree view. The front deck is a great place to relax, soak up the scenery next to the gas firepit. Watch for our favorite red fox, you may hear the elk bugle too!

If you are looking for adventure outside of the lodge, Moose Meadow is just minutes away from activities for every season. In the winter, enjoy snowmobiling on the many miles of trails in the area, Two Tops is spectacular! Head over to West Yellowstone to book excursions into the Park such as a snow coach tour or cross country skiing. Big Sky Ski Resort, Montana is one and a half hours away and provides ample opportunities for downhill skiing.

In the summer, the area offers hiking, off-road vehicle trails (ATV's), and fishing on Henry’s Lake, Idaho. The nearby town of West Yellowstone, Montana provides shopping, restaurants, the Grizzly Discovery Center, the IMax Theatre, the Museum of Yellowstone and The West Yellowstone Adventure Park.
