Pronghorn Lodge is a cabin in the Lazy Acres subdivision of West Yellowstone, Montana. Pronghorn was designed to provide spacious indoor and outdoor gathering spots that will allow your group to build great memories together.

Met all of our needs, well stocked kitchen, games for the kids, comfortable beds and bedding, great location and to top it off we had a mama moose and her babies visit the backyard twice. Can’t go wrong booking here!

We were a party of 7 adults for a family reunion. The cabin is excellent. Very comfortable, well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, comfortable beds and plenty of room. We used the hot tub (which was wonderful) but did not get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit because there was a lot of rain at night. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

What a spacious yet comfy house! Tons of rooms and bathrooms and it was very nice to have the two living spaces so the kids could hang out upstairs and the parents on the main floor. We loved the big kitchen and the hot tub on the deck was so clean and nice. Pre communication about the house and check in was great along with lists of suggestions and recommendations for local spots and park activities. It was very helpful for first timers. And most of all, can't beat the location to the West Yellowstone Entrance!

We enjoyed the kitchen as we made dinner 3 of the nights we stayed at the house and it had every thing we needed. The back deck had a nice seating area for us to hang and enjoy the meals with good conversations of recounting our adventures and planning for the next days adventure. The hot tub allowed us to ease our sore muscles from all the hiking. All in all we enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for us. This is a great place for families.

What a vacation! Seven adults so very comfortable in this amazingly designed home. Lots of inviting gathering spaces and at the same time ample space for privacy. All five bedrooms/beds/bedding were super comfy (four Kings) and three have attached baths. Big win!Kitchen was well stocked, all amenities clearly labeled and back deck space lovely. Hot tub was a hit and easy to use thanks to clear instructions. Host was communicative and highly responsive. And their local tips really did enhance our Yellowstone adventure! Thanks for everything!

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Everything was clean and organized.The home was very close to West Yellowstone and the gates of the park. Great location near horse rides, Rodeo and to Jackson Hole for a fun day trip (which we did), Plus may other attractions!The property manager was great to communicate with and explained everything very clearly. She responded very fast and answered all questions with detailed answers. We would definitely recommend this property!

This was the very best VRBO that we have stayed at. They had everything we needed and more. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cabin. We were close to Yellowstone National Park, packed lunches for our day at the park, dipped in the hot tub in the evenings, and enjoyed smores by the outdoor firepit. The home was stocked with games that we played around the large, wooden table. The grill was perfect for hamburgers and the beds for very comfortable. We loved all the bathrooms.

The house was perfect for our family of 7, but can easily accommodate 10. Comfy beds, and plenty of towels. Great to have a spacious living areas, entry, and laundry room. We appreciated many of the extras (condiments, seasonings, zip bags, plastic wrap, many kinds of utensils and dishes, and cookware, dish soap, etc. We didn't use the garage but nice to have that option. Loved the view from the back deck and BBQing and hot tubbing. Julie provided such good information and advice prior to our arrival. I highly recommend this home in a lovely quiet neighborhood.

This was the best experience I have ever had with VRBO. The lodge was excellent with thoughtful, and helpful extra touches. I appreciated bedside table plug-ins (for charger and CPAP), ziploc bags in the kitchen, etc. In the days before we arrived we got helpful emails about Yellowstone as well as local places to grab a lunch to take with us. Quality appliances, well furnished kitchen - everything we could have hoped for! We were a 3 generation family and everyone felt easily accommodated. Kudos to our host who responded quickly the 2 times we sent messages. 5 star plus!

I have been coming to Yellowstone National Park for 60 years and I believe this home is the best accommodation we have ever enjoyed (we have stayed at a variety of locations both inside and outside the park). The location is perfect (close enough to the Park yet away from the noise and chaos of West Yellowstone), the home is beautiful, and the host is outstanding. We had family come from Phoenix and Sierra Vista, AZ; Kansas City, and San Francisco for the vacation. All loved the home for various reasons. Comments were made about the beauty of the home, the outstanding amenities, the family gathering space, and they loved the hot tub after a day of hiking and exploring. Our communication from Julie was great, before, during, and after our visit. This is the second time we have stayed at this beautiful home and everyone in the family agrees that we will stay here again on our next family trip to Yellowstone.

The owners of Pronghorn Lodge are Scott & Libby. They live in Minneapolis, MN and love to spend time outdoors - hiking, skiing and biking primarily. They also love to travel and have enjoyed staying in many short term rentals over the years.

Julie Thomas is the property manager of Pronghorn Lodge. She lives in Minneapolis, MN with her husband and daughter. They passionately travel the world and there isn't a destination that isn't on the bucket list!

Why they chose this property

Scott and Libby started coming to West Yellowstone about 8 years ago and fell in love with the area and all it had to offer, both summer and winter. They managed a one-bedroom VRBO rental in Bend and enjoyed meeting people and helping them make the most of their trips to the area. When they had an opportunity to buy property in West Yellowstone and build additional short-term rental properties, they decided to go for it. Although they aren't managing full-time, they remain committed to helping guests have the best experience possible!

What makes this property unique

The lot for Pronghorn Lodge is large and allowed them to focus on building not only a spacious home for guests inside, but also great outdoor spaces. The inside of the house is oriented to large gathering spots - the great room, kitchen and dining on the main floor and recreation room on the upper floor. Everything is done using top quality materials and attention to detail. They had the opportunity to build a covered wraparound porch on this house, which they love! Lots of space for everyone to spread out after a day in the park and talk, eat, play games and soak in the hot tub.
