What can I say? A super nice apartment in a fantastic location within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. The owner is very nice, responsive, and easy to work with. I would definitely stay here again! 5 star experience!

Nice property in Bordeaux

Very nice stay. We had a disagreement on my departure as to the expected cleanliness of how the property should be left and I was charged additional cleaning charges. I was not in agreement with the charges.

Paradise Found!

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment whilst in Bordeaux. For our preferences, the location was ideal. The apartment has been very well remodeled and well taken care of. All of our dealings with the owners were handled professionally and cordial. It was easy for us to comply with the requests of the ownership for the care of the apartment and respect to the neighbors as we subscribe to the same etiquette. When time flies it is usually an indicator of a great experience. Our sojourn in Bordeaux of which a large part of the visit was due to the comfort and ease with this apartment made our departure difficult. We left wanting more and are very sorry we did not stay longer! Bravo to the proprietors Julie and Jean-Luc!

Unfair expectations on departure

I have already posted on this. But I am enraged that the owners charged me for cleaning the property after our departure. There were a few small items in the fridge and some items in the trash. They just needed to be thrown out... and, the owners complained that the bathroom was not clean. NOT TRUE. The apartment must be cleaned professionally between renters. This is not for the renters to pay! It is a beautiful apartment. I am sorry that it ended badly. BUT, there was no reaason for them to charge more money.

Perfect Location, Gracious Host

Our stay at this property began when Jean-Luc offered to meet us for an earlier than posted check-in time to better accommodate our schedule. We greatly appreciated his willingness and ability to extend this courtesy. This is a very comfortable, nicely decorated and well equipped apartment in a secure building. It is superbly located with many of the recommended sites of Bordeaux within a half hour walking radius, and has very convenient access to public transport. The Carrefour’s supermarket is a five minute walk away and the hosts provide several reusable shopping bags. If you don’t feel like going out for dinner or cooking, Peppone’s restaurant is right next door and the take-away is delicious and convenient. For avid recyclers, the building provides recycling of cardboard, paper and plastics, and guests are able to recycle glass in a container near the supermarket. Overall, our stay in this lovely apartment, exceeded our expectations. Surrounded by beautiful architecture, and the sounds and scents of this active city, we truly felt like we were a part of Bordeaux for a few weeks. Thank you Jean-Luc and Julie for your hospitality!

Appartement très agréable!

Ce très bel appartement est situé au second dans un immeuble historique très calme avec ascenseur et offre des équipements de qualité et un confort contemporain. Il est à quelques pas seulement de tout ce qui fait le charme du centre historique de Bordeaux. Le descriptif de l’appartement sur le site de Vrbo est en tout point conforme à la réalité des lieux. Mon épouse et moi sommes des habitués de Bordeaux, où nous aimons séjourner un ou deux mois chaque année. On a passé un temps très agréable dans ce charmant appartement. On s’y sentait à notre aise dans un environnement tranquille comme nous les aimons. Propre et bien aménagé cet appartement à tout pour plaire pour un court ou long séjour. Jean Luc notre hôte est très attentionné, respectueux et vraiment sympathique. Un grand merci à vous et votre épouse. For my fellows North Americans friends: The property is pretty and conveniently located near the old town center. We had a very smooth check in process, interaction with the owner was also very easy. We stayed for two months and had a great time. This appartement has everything we needed. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Wonderful stay in Bordeaux

My wife and I stayed in Bordeaux for 4 days. The owner was very responsive and wonderful to deal with during our stay. The apartment was located in a great neighborhood and was very convenient to the city center. It was very clean, well appointed and was perfect for our needs. As such, it contributed to a wonderful stay in Bordeaux and we would love to visit again.

Nous avon passé un merveilleux séjour à Bordeaux dans cet appartment. Pour ce que nous voulions faire, c'était parfait et les propriétaires sont très gentils. Nous souhaitons que nous restions plus longtemps, car lorsque le teimps passe est généralement quelque chose de bon.
