Located directly on beautiful Maalaea Bay, savor stunning sunrises over majestic Haleakala every morning in this newly remodeled and meticulously maintained ground floor unit. Located on the most private corner of the complex with the premium views, and literally 50’ from your lanai to the our famed Sea Turtle sanctuary. With straight-on and direct southerly views to Molokini and constant whale watching all winter, this is truly paradise. No hassling with elevators…just park in your reserved parking spot 20' away and walk straight in the front door! You will also appreciate that our unit is away from the community pool, thus adding to your privacy and solitude.

We recently completed our full remodel, including all new furniture, kitchen/appliances, finest bedding/linens, paint, electronics, wide-plank flooring throughout....so no musty or dirty carpet. We are also one of the few units with both central A/C and our own washer and dryer for your added convenience.

The beautiful Maalaea Kai complex is renowned for it’s meticulous ‘golf course-type’ landscaping, friendly atmosphere, Tiki Torches, and social time at the BBQ area. (The DCS BBQ’s are the best money can buy). The recently renovated pool and BBQ areas are spotless and a joy to use.
If you crave walking on or swimming in a sandy beach, you’re a few minutes stroll to the unspoiled HAYCRAFT BEACH PARK/MAALAEA BEACH, boasting 3+ MILES of gentle, swimmable sandy beachfront. Maalaea Beach is arguably one of the most beautiful, unspoiled, and surprisingly unused beaches on Maui. (Google it!) Plus, it's located directly across from the beautiful Kealia National Wildlife Refuge. Or, from your unit, take a 3-minute walk in the opposite direction to Maalaea Harbor for a sunset sail, whale watch excursion, snorkeling trip to Molokini, deep-sea fishing, shopping, or visit the nationally acclaimed Maui Ocean Center Aquarium or Seascape Restaurant for a first-class dining experience.

This Unit is perfect for one or two couples, (Brand new King and Queen beds), however we’ve outfitted it with an ultra-high quality sofa-bed w/pillow-top if you need the extra sleeping space.

As visitors to Maui for over 4 decades, we describe Maalaea as the IDEAL location on the island, away from the hustle-bustle of traffic and ‘touristy’ vibe, with an strong emphasis on privacy and quiet, yet super-convenient to any of the places first-time or repeat visitors would want to experience. This special home was previously owned by our parents, who genuinely enjoyed and contributed to the Aloha Spirit of ‘The Kai’ for over 25 years. We are honored to continue their legacy and share this beautiful slice of paradise with you.

The unit was very clean and there was a nice gift basket when we arrived. The kitchen was completely stocked, didn't need anything. We had a question about the air conditioner the first evening and we couldn't figure out the answer, John answered immediately. Loved being right on the beach, we had our 87 year old mother there and it was easy to get around.

Just a phenomenal place to stay! The ocean is right out the back door. The General Store is within walking distance. Great food and coffee. Easy drive to all of the places we wanted to go. They made everything very simple…communication, check-in, amenities, info on everywhere to go, etc. We could not be more happy with our choice!

We were very pleased with our accommodations! The hosts supplied beach chairs, cooler, and beach umbrella: so nice! There was a nice beach within walking distance and we visited with the turtles nightly. Nice restaurant s close by too!

Great location between north tourist and south tourist destinations. Very clean & great host.

Hard to beat the diving to lanai and Molokini. Relaxing and very comfortable condo with walk out patio to the ocean. Nice beach just down the street. Highly recommended.

Wonderful week in Maui

This condo is very well maintained and equipped. The patio is 50 feet from the seawall with a spectacular view of Maalaea Bay (which was teeming with humpback whales that we could watch from our patio) and Haleakala volcano. The hosts were wonderful and were staying in the condo next door when we arrived. The location is perfect for exploring the island.

Million dollar view from which we saw whales before even walking off the patio. Condo is great and the location is perfect for day trips in any direction. Hosts were most accommodating, super friendly, and provided great information on where to go and what to do. Quite a memorable week on magical Maui.

Merry Maui Christmas

This is an immacculately well kept condo and property in a centrally located area. John has thought of everything you need whether it is heading out to the beach that is a quick 5 mins stroll away or spending a leisurely day grilling and swimming onsite. Everyday we were greeted by sea turtles just 50 yards from the lanai and most days we could see humpback whales swimming offshore. Wonderful hosts, great property

We had a fantastic week in Maui. John and Trish were great hosts who never hesitated to answer questions and guide us during our stay. The location is central about half way between Lahaina and Kihei. The bay had amazing vies with whales and turtles right outside. It's not an area with nightlife and bars, but that's not what we were looking for on our trip to Maui. We can't wait to come back.

Paradise Found

We arrived to find the property looking even better than the pictures! Spotless, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Communications with the owners were fabulous - check-in was a breeze, and they even provided a comprehensive list of things to do, restaurant recommendations; they thought of everything! Peaceful Stay in Paradise

The condo was fabulous and did not disappoint! The view is amazing and so relaxing! It’s in a great quiet location and easily accessible to various spots around the island. We were two couples and we loved having the two bedrooms, beautifully decorated and each having our own bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked, though we didn’t cook much as we were out exploring; first visit for our son and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing it with him and his wife! The BEST part of our stay was “coming home to paradise” each evening!

Paradise!

We had an amazing stay. The condo was in the perfect central location in Maui. It had everything we needed and the beds were extremely comfortable. We appreciated the snorkel gear, towels, etc being available for our use. Waking up to that view everyday was everything. We hoped to see whales and our dreams came true! John was wonderful and his list of things to do was very helpful - it was spot on. We will definitely be back. Thank you John and family!

TURTLE TIME😎

The property is in an ideal location ground level 20 feet from the ocean! Beautiful views of the harbor, Haleakala, Molokini, and more. Multiple turtles right in your back yard, gorgeous sun rises, and sunsets. The beach park 5 minute walk is fantastic. Perfect location, relaxing getaway

The condo was perfect for a weeklong stay with husband and parents. Location was quiet and away from tourist busyness. Walking distance to Maalaea pier and harbor activities and several restaurants. Easy drive to everything else. Walking out the back door to see turtles in the mornings was an unbelievable experience. This house and host were amazing, providing everything we needed and more. On the rare occasion we had a need or question, John took care of us immediately. We so enjoyed our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

Perfect stay, incredible hosts

We had a perfect stay in Maui. This unit is exactly as advertised, well renovated, comfortable, with a nice ocean view and central AC. Heavenly as advertised

Seriously enjoyed our stay here. Two teens with us (17, 15) so the pull out was necessary and the kids appreciated the memory foam. Place was super-clean and had everything we needed or wanted. The ground floor unit was awesome being able to step out onto the grass and this building is unique among all in Maalaea with the open area and unobstructed view of the ocean. On top of all of it, John is probably the best host I’ve ever dealt with… super-responsive and incredibly accommodating with the scenario planning around Covid. We will be back!

Wonderful Beachfront Condo

This condo was absolutely perfect for our Maui family vacation (2 adults and 1 teen). The views are spectacular, especially the morning sunrise! It was fun watching the sea turtles just steps from the patio and our son enjoyed the pool. You can't ask for a better location on the island. Easy drive to Lahaina, Kihei, Wailea, Paia, etc. The condo is spacious, clean, and well stocked. Very nicely decorated. The overall property is beautifully kept and quiet. John was a wonderful host and super easy to work with. I would highly recommend this condo and would happily stay here again!

Perfection!

The condo and location were absolutely perfect! We normally stay in a resort on the busier part of the island but we wanted to change it up this time. We're so glad we did because the views, privacy, and accommodations were so much better than a resort stay. The permanent residents were all wonderful and welcoming with true "Aloha Spirit". The condo had everything available for a day at the beach and so much more, so there was never a need to rent a lot of equipment. One stop at Costco to stock up on groceries was all we needed. John is the best host and a great communicator. His kindness and generosity before and during the trip were exceptional and we look forward to returning in the future!

A+++ View!

This was our first visit to Maui and it did not disappoint! The Condo was clean, nicely decorated, and well appointed. Everything we needed was there! But the view… it couldn’t be beat! To enjoy my morning beverage (Diet Coke) and read upon waking up was just delightful. As were the many walks along the water. We liked the location- felt it was central to so many things. We used their provided activities document quite a bit! The Road to Hana day and the crater day were our favorites! But we also really liked being able to relax right outside. Thanks to John & family for a great home away from home! And for being reachable when we had questions.
