Quiet Villa Near Beaches, Restaurants

Channel View is a charming, well-outfitted villa perfectly located for a new visitor or repeat guests on Nevis. Recented updated with new furnishings, the house provides comfortable surroudings for enjoying all Nevis has to offer with new AC units in all rooms, and spacious screened pool-side veranda.

The villa overlooks the Narrows to St Kitts and boasts both sea and island views, so you sit by the pool soaking up the view or walk a short 10 minutes to the closest beach at Tamarind Bay or Chrishi Beach, which has a great restaurant, bar, and beach facilities.

The three ensuite bedrooms offer plenty of storage, large bathrooms, and shades for lazy days of sleeping. A fence surrounds the acre of garden with an automatic gate opener, screened veranda for outside dining, and a second table for inside.

Within a ½-mile radius, there are 5 beaches and several restaurants providing a varied selection of cuisine and ambience.

Roofed interior is 1,563 square feet and roofed exterior is 650 square feet
Guest bedroom 1 (ensuite bath/shower and walk in closet) 14’ x 14’. This has a 6’ wide super king double bed.
Guest bedroom 2 (ensuite bath/shower and walk in closet) has two bunk beds which are both double beds on the bottom and single beds on the top thus could sleep up to 6 children.
Main room 24’ x 24’. This contains a large L-shaped sofa along with a dining room table and 8 chairs. There is also a large 65" smart TV and HiFi system.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Property manager will normally come prior to departure and collect the keys and make sure everything is turned off and in order.
If Property manager is unable to meet with guests prior to departure, arrangements will be made for checkout.
The two most important things: Turn off all air conditioners and close windows.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No parties allowed. It is fine to have a few people for dinner, but no loud music, speakers and cars coming and going and disturbing neighbors.

Awesome place! Great view.

Great for a family. We had 5 adults and 2 children and never felt crowded. Great location for for several beaches and dining choices. Cathy was great at answering our questions and setting up transportation from airport.

Best sunrise views in Nevis

We loved the house it was everything that was expected. Great pool, great sunrise views.. the location is very convenient. We saw monkeys in the morning eating and playing next to the pool. We used the kitchen for breakfast in the mornings and we enjoyed our time at the house. Would go back to this house again!!

Perfect place

Home located on a short quiet street. Plenty of space inside and out. Easy access to beaches and good restaurants. Cathy was wonderful and so helpful in getting us settled and providing local information. Would definitely stay there again!

Immaculate, very well located house

Perfect Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay and the property was convenient yet tucked away. We lived on the deck and in the pool, enjoyed watching the monkeys that visited. Our host answered all of our questions and available with immediate responses to the few questions that came up. We would definitely recommend this home :)

Wonderful holiday at this lovely home; idyllic!

We had a brilliant holiday at this lovely home with our 3 children. The house is nicely proportioned and great for entertaining. All rooms are en-suite and of a good size and the house has a large garden, perfect for football and cricket! The place is really well positioned for some of the best beaches on the Island, as well as some great bars and restaurants. Nevis is a great Island, much less commercialised than many other Caribbean Islands and a very friendly place. We had a memorable holiday here and will be back!!

Wonderful Week

This is a great property with beautiful views and the comforts to make for a beautiful vacation. The pool made our time there all the more enjoyable though we often ventured to the beach. We are extensive walkers and were able to walk to Chrishi Beach, Gin Trap for dinner and Mansas for limited but appreciated supplies including beer and morning pastries. What few things needed tending to were addressed immediately. We would rebook this in a heart beat!

Totally Relaxing

The house was clean, private, and comfortable. Having a bathroom attached to each bedroom was luxurious. As well as large closets, AC, and a washing machine. We spent most of our time outside in the sun by the pool, on the porch in the shade or playing in the large yard. I highly suggest having Cathy arrange the taxi and water taxi for a smooth and easy way to travel to and from the airport. Highlights during our trip included a sailing charter with snorkeling and the climb up Nevis Peak.

Paradise

This was the third time my husband and I have stayed in Chanel View on the paradise island of Nevis.Each time it seems to get better. We loved the increased patio area and the large garden is beautiful with stunning sunsets overlooking the sea. Sometimes we walked to Oualie beach, and Cades bay is practically across the road, where we often had leisurely lunches on the beach. The house is always spotless and well maintained by a very diligent and friendly housekeeper. There are plenty of good restaurants and Gallipot is within walking distance and serves fish caught that day as well as other appetising meals. We would recommend hiring a car and explore this most beautiful, friendly Caribbean island of Nevis. We have booked to return for Christmas and would highly recommend Chanel View and the island of Nevis.

Great Experience

Our First time using a Vrbo. Cathy and Phillip were friendly, responsive and very helpful. Before renting, Cathy and Phillip were both quick to answer any questions about the property. Cathy met us at the ferry dock on Nevis and took us to the property. She also offered to help with getting a taxi or any other things we needed while on the island. The house was as advertised. The floor plan was great with three bedrooms and four baths. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We used the outdoor gas grill to cook many meals. The pool was cleaned twice while we were there. The lounge chairs on the pool deck were comfortable. The yard was beautiful and it was fun to see the monkeys who visited everyday. We also enjoyed playing board games on the kitchen table in the evenings. We loved the our time on Nevis!

Peaceful stay at Channelview House

Loved staying in this Channelview house. Pretty view of Mount Nevis on front side of house & oceanview on back side of house. Evertything you need is here in kitchen, bath & bedrooms all were nice. Spent time swimming & relaxing at the pool at house plus beaches. My husband & I cooked all our meals in this house. We did not eat out. Well spent money staying at this house. Lovely pool, Convenient to the beaches, shopped at grocery Horsford IGA not to far. Liked the artisan village & craft house, all local made jewelry, keychains & crafts. Also check out Mansas convenience store he makes great Star Fruit juice, papya & beet juice all freshly squeezed & he makes there, has trees behind store & 5 acre farm. He also has fresh coconut & raisin rolls from local Nevis bakery & local newspaper. Also has Carib beer.

We didn't want to leave!

Stayed with my family of 4 and my 2 cousins during our family reunion. The house was great! The kids loved the pool, and the adults loved the views and the ac in each bedroom. We didn't want to leave! We did not rent a car and fared ok because we had family staying nearby, are used to walking, and even hopped a bus once (which was super easy). But, we would probably rent a car if we came back. Great house at a very reasonable rate!

Splendid home on Nevis

Well kept three bedroom home, clean and functional. Not too far up in the hills so close and convenient to various beaches, town, etc. Similar to a home we rented in 2016 that was further up in the hills (but harder to get to). Great for 2 couples and/or 2 couples with some children as third bedroom bunks only. Pool nice temperature and very welcoming.

Great place to stay!

We came for the Blues Festival but had a hard time pulling ourselves away from the place. It had all we needed and more. Plenty of space, great kitchen and great pool with view. Had a lovely time! Thanks for everything!

Wondeful family Spring Break

Our week on the beautiful island of Nevis was amazing. From the moment we booked, Cathy was extremely helpful and assisted us every step of the way. She set up our transportation from the airport to Channel View Villa. (taxi and then water taxi) and as soon as we arrived in Oaulie Beach, she was there to meet us and had our rental car bright to us. (a rental car is a MUST)!! Cathy also arranged transportation back to airport at the end of week and was back at Oaulie Beach to see us off. My husband, three sons, (14, 13 and 8) and I planned our trip with the mind set of rest & relaxation from school, work and sports and that is exactly what we got. We spent many days just relaxing at the house and taking advantage of the large yard and pool. Pinney's Beach was a huge hit. Make sure to visit Sunshine's for lunch and adults must try a "Killer Bee" cocktail. We also enjoyed a day at the Four Season's for lunch and watersports. The staff was gracious, friendly and took wonderful care of us and the kids while we went wave running and the kids tried out fly boards. Grocery shopping: Rams. This was the only store that we found to be well stocked and carried the things we needed. Our only issue with the house were ants. the first night there we noticed them in the bathrooms and kitchen. We bought ant spray and were able to control them by doing a spray of the areas each morning. We also found some on one of the beds in the bunk room, but after washing the linens, they were no longer an issue. We made Cathy aware and she said she would look into it. All in all, the trip was a success and we will definitely stay there again!!

Fabulous!

This property is in an ideal setting overlooking Cades Bay and within walking distance of Chrissies beach club on Cades Beach and Oualie Beach Channel View is about 8 years old and well maintained. Mala the housekeeper is excellent and a very willing baby-sitter The property is set in two acres of garden with plenty of shrubs and lawns looked after by Singh. One of our favourite dining places was Bananas high up above Charleston with gentle breezes and no mosquitos. We also loved Montpelliar very colonial and old world. One of the most beautiful settings is Golden Rock, originally a sugar plantation with many interesting features. Bikes can be hired from Oualie. Try and cycle around the island it is about 25 miles and very doable once you have mastered the hills. If golf is your thing the course at Four Seasons is the most picturesque we have ever been on. There is also fishing and tennis. Or swim in the warm Caribbean waters or soak up the sun on the beach. This is truly a paradise island with wonderfully warm and friendly people.. We have gone there for the last seven out of eight years each time we have really enjoyed living in this clean and well maintained property One other place that is really worth a visit is the Botanical Gardens and see how well our house plants grow in their native environment . There is a very good Thai restaurant there. Excellent for lunch. .

An Excellant Caribbean Holiday Property.

My husband and I have been three times to Channel View the last time in December last year. We have loved it every time we have been. The house is very comfortable beautifully furnished and decorated having everything that you need a real home from home.Outside an attractive veranda with a pool to relax and pretty spacious grounds. The house has beautiful views from every window especially the view from the veranda.Nevis is an unspoilt friendly caribbean island lots of good restaurants and bars and beautiful quiet safe beaches.

A first class villa on a lovely, friendly Island.

Having recently returned from a wonderful holiday, the property was just as we remembered it, having been fortunate to stay in this lovely villa six years previous. Extremely family friendly and very comfortable with everything you would want from a well equipped holiday villa. A very spacious property inside and out, having en-suite shower/bathrooms to each bedroom is a real bonus. The outside veranda and pool area is just right for relaxing and entertaining, which we all enjoyed, with wonderful views. We believe the property is in the ideal position for one of the wonderful close beaches just a 5 minute drive away at Oualie Beach being on the Caribbean Sea side of the island, convenient for good quality restaurants and bars. The property manager was very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. We feel very fortunate to have discovered this unspoilt, friendly, Caribbean Island, we couldn't recommend the island, the people and this all round lovely property more highly. We will be back again:)

Finally a property worth 5 stars!

My husband and I stayed at this rental twice. We absolutely adored it. The second time we brought our teenage son and his teenage cousin. They loved it - especially the pool! House is very comfortable and spacious with everything one could need. Stunning views!. Lovely garden. the area is perfect and quiet and very close to one of the many fabulous beaches. Heaven! We will be going again definitely.

Owners are from the UK and have been coming to Nevis for 20 years. They fell in love with this unspoilt island and bought Channel View as a home away from home. It was newly built when they bought it and the first villa in this area, thus why it boasts some of the best view from Jones Estate.

Cathy is not the owner, but does manage this lovely villa.

Why they chose this property

Stunning sea and mountain views, great location, walking distance to beach, restaurants, bars and local shop. Very quiet, private and relaxing location.

What makes this property unique

Channel View is especially good for families, the owners have been bringing their family from toddlers to teenagers and the house easily accommodates all. It has the security and furnishing required for little children coupled (gated pool with lock available on request, baby chair etc) with the perfect location for older children to explore the island or play football in the garden. This Villa has been set up so families can relax and take it easy.
