Very clean nice neighborhood. Close to everything. The owner is awesome! I would recommend this listing to all my friends! Thank you so much for letting us use your house!
Property was a great location for us liking to golf, courses were near. Property was as advertised. Had a glitch with TV, but host resolved it promptly. Neighbors were nice. Great place to stay.
Can’t beat the price. Lindsay is Betty easy to contact and the directions are clear. Location is very nice. The cleanliness and tidiness could use some work however the price and location is right.
Overall an excellent rental. Very good location with easy access to several of the areas that we wanted to visit. A couple of minor problems with the front door dead bolt lock and the dish washer.
Our stay in Ft. Myers at this house was excellent. It was clean and quiet. We were there 8 days and the location is very convenient. It's a smaller house, 1,500 sf, built in the 50s. But it served our needs perfectly. The neighborhood was very safe. We would take walks and it was pleasant to just look at the variety of housing stock, especially as you wandered near the river. The next door neighbor, Al, was very friendly. He gave us a couple of restaurant tips. The backyard patio was cozy and my wife loved a daily visit from an anole that made frequent appearances. The yard was private on 2 sides with a fence. (Al is on the 3rd side.) The front has a driveway for parking with a carport.Overall, we would stay here again. The only glitch we ran into is the owner rations the toilet paper. One roll. If you're staying more than a few days, plan to buy more, but overall, the house is a very good value. I highly recommend it.
I was in Fort Myers to play golf and spent little time in the house. That said, it was everything that was as advertised on the VRBO website. I think it might still be a work in progress because some finishing woodwork on some windows was missing, That did not bother me. The rate was fair and all of the appliances worked. And the location is great. The property manager was very responsive.
Needs an outside antenna or cable tv.
Great location. Interesting sites and malls.clean and tidy.
Dryer noisy but worked well.
Furniture functional but old.
We were locked out for a while when the electronic front door lock failed (?) and lucked into not having locked a rear sliding glass door that day. Would stay here again if items were fixed
Thanks for renting to us

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
Adequate close to downtown Fort Myers
The dryer was extremely loud it was functional
The dishwasher didn’t clean the dishes. I had to run 2 loads to get dishes clean
The neighbor lady seemed to be friendly but commented she was watching me-don’t know what she was watching for but I felt creepy being outside on patio.
I tried to keep the house clean and feel they were looking for a reason not to return the deposit. I won’t stay there again
This house was just as advertised & clean! We had lots of room. The neighborhood is nice to take walks. Lindsay was wonderful in responding quickly. Unfortunately there were some problems with the plumbing but they were quickly resolved. She responded quickly and her handyman was wonderful - prompt, clean, efficient, friendly (I want him at my house at home!!). That's all we could ask - problems can happen with any house at any time but she was wonderful and everything was resolved quickly. Stay here - you will like it! - Also the ceiling fans are very quiet and work very well. (There are lights in them but it is a little complicated - just ask!!)

complaints
Listing advertised internet and when I requested Wifi password, no response was given. Listing was for 4 people and 4 people stayed in house and yet, I was charged for extra people. (expect refund). 6-8 huge palm fronds covered front entrance and we had to remove them to use front door. Personal items left in bathrm. (toothbrushes, etc). Siliding door to backyard wouldn't open. Dryer didn't work. I called owner day of check in to tell that lock box wouldn't close and she said no problem, just to leave key in kitchen. Then day of check out, she texted me at 9:30 am, (1/2 hr before check out), to say her cleaning lady couldn't get in because I didn't leave key in lockbox.

Goof Value and Location
This property is well-located just off McGregor Blvd, a short distance from the Edison/Ford Museum and other downtown attractions. It was not too far from ballparks or Sanibel, and had enough good restaurant options nearby. The neighborhood seems to be transitioning, with homes available for sale for under $300,000 and over $1 million. There is minimal traffic, it feels safe, and is quiet. The property is well equipped, but not with luxuries. The uncarpeted laminate floors are clean, and the home has no odor. The furnishings of the house are eclectic and thrift-shop quality, except for the bed mattresses which were comfortably firm and seemed nearly new. We reported maintenance issues such as a screeching dryer and slow bathroom sink drain. We found the WIFI to be unstable and inconsistent, which seemed to prevent the SmartTV from working reliably. If good internet access, a dependable TV, more than a 5 cup coffee pot, and top-quality maintenance is important to you, this place could frustrate you. If you can overlook those issues and are budget-conscious, then this well-located, safe, quiet lodging alternative with an above-average amount of room to spread out offers good value.
We loved the location. So quiet, and centrally located. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of dishes and storage space for clothes and food items we bought.
It has a drip 5 cup coffee maker. Enough towels for two people but no wash cloths or dish cloths.
2 big TVs but bedroom was the one that worked best. Liked the back patio with a pergola over it.
Loved the spacious dining room table with 6 chairs. Sunroom was nice too. Plenty of seating. Definitely would stay there again!
