Hele fijne plek als je van rust houdt. Prachtig uitzicht en midden in de natuur. De eigenaars zijn heel erg aardig en gastvrij en wonen op de begane grond. Zij hebben een eigen moestuin en diverse dieren rondom het huis. De badkamer is nieuw. De rest van het appartement is vrij basic en wat verouderd, maar verder brandschoon. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig. Prima geslapen op de twee losse bedden. Wifi werkt goed als je binnen bent, op het terras eigenlijk niet meer. De supermarkt onder aan de berg heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Wil je naar een stad met meer winkels en diverse restaurants, ben je in 20 minuten in het pittoreske Brig.

23 Jaar lang kwamen we in dit huisje. Nu, na een onderbreking van een aantal jaren, weer: het was thuiskomen! De verhuurders zijn erg vriendelijk. Het huisje (met eigen voordeur) is ruim, erg schoon, inmiddels sinds een jaar een moderne nieuwe badkamer met douche en toilet, er is een nieuwe houten vloer in de woon- en slaapkamer gekomen. Ook zijn er nieuwe ramen gekomen: echte Walliser ramen; gezellig! Verder zijn er allemaal andere meubels gekomen. Ook is er veel opbergruimte: alles ademt een gezellige sfeer. Het ruime terras biedt veel privacy. Dus: een zeer aangenaam verblijf! Verder ligt het huis zeer centraal gelegen. Vanaf hier zit je zo in het Binntal, of op de Nufenen- en Grimselpas. De andere kant op ben je zo op de Simplonpas (en Italië), Saas Grund, Saas Fee en Zermatt. Nog iets verder, maar binnen een uur (door de tunnels) zit je in Sion. En verder zo richting Martigny of (Meer van) Genève. Beneden vanuit Mörel pak je de kabelbaan naar de Aletschgletscher. Ook kun je vanuit het huis terug met de autotrein en ben je redelijk snel in Interlaken, voor de Jungfrau enz. Het klimaat is meestal heerlijk; we hadden altijd zon. Een zwembad is in Naters en Brig. Soms een paar dagen bewolkt, regenachtig in het verleden: meer dan een paar dagen was dat niet. Nu hadden we 4 weken zon! Dus: dit huis, met fijne verhuurders is een echte aanrader! Bij aankomst werden we verwelkomt door Hr Beat, de eigenaar, die ons rustig onze gang liet gaan. Maar als er vragen weren stond hij voor ons klaar. Het huisje stond op een doodlopend wegje halverwege een berg, maar makkelijk bereikbaar. Het huisje heeft een fantastisch uitzicht, het was ook uitermate schoon. Van de moestuin mochten we gebruikmaken, zodat we verse kruiden in de maaltijd hadden. Het is een uitgelezen huisje om de omgeving te verkennen ( ( (Italie, gletsers , bossen en dorpjes).
