Mt Baker Getaways offers

This cottage is tucked away in the forest right next to the large lodge, only 3 minute walk to town. You can catch the Baker Bus up to the mountain or drive 25 minutes to the mountain top. This cottage is cozy! Amazing for two guests a little tight for four. Work from the forest as we just upgraded to high speed internet.

Kitchen has all the gadgets to cook about anything. The fridge is nice and big for short or extended stays. We have an electric stove and propane bbq for you to enjoy. The covered porch and rocking chairs are perfect for relaxing after a day on the mountain or trails. There is a fire pit and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. We just installed AC for those hot summer days.

The ceilings in the bedroom/living room area are low, as this is a very small and historic cottage. The washer and dryer are located on the outside of the cottage in a storage room.

This cottage offers a private space not shared like other local condos and your own private hot tub.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We spent two nights here and this is a wonderful cabin. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is within walking distance to a couple of restaurants and a coffee shop. The hosts answered our questions quickly and even let us tour another property they have next door. We would stay here again on a trip to the beautiful Mt Baker area.

Accommodations in this area are limited. So, we felt fortunate to have rented this cabin with it's many advantages and a reasonable rate. Tucked away at the end of a short road, the location is idyllic and quiet. Seated in the rocker on the back porch it's easy to convince yourself you're in an isolated mountain retreat, completely alone in nature. In fact, just a short walk away are a grocery, a restaurant, and a coffee shop. (Definitely do not miss Gunners BBQ; killer BBQ and homemade pies!) Like most places the cabin has it's small quirks, but it had everything we needed and was comfortable in every way that was important. My only advice to future renters has to do with the distance to Artist Point. The property description says 20 minutes but it is more like 40-45 and this can make a difference in your planning for your stay. The views when you get there are spectacular, so enjoy!

The cottage had all the basic necessities. It was incredibly quiet and peaceful at night and the hot tub was very therapeutic after a long day of hiking. The location was very convenient to travel to the Park. Also, there are two places within walking distance for coffee and breakfast sandwiches or pastries, or dinner in the evening. We didn’t even cook anything during our stay even though the kitchen was well stocked.
