The cabin was clean and just as shown in the pictures. We stayed 3 nights and loved the outdoor area and hot tub. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a rental in the area.
We had a fantastic experience at our stay! The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to local attractions yet peaceful and quiet. The host was responsive and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay here again
We fully enjoyed our stay at the little Red Canin! It looked exactly like the pictures. The hosts were quick with responding to any questions/issues that came up. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
I can’t say much about property as never made it. I booked this rental mid July for my gf birthday for Aug 3/4th. 5 days before arrival my gf became really sick and omitted to hospital for potential cancer in stomach or mass (still waiting for results). Either way will require surgery. I messaged host 4 days before arrival to ask to reschedule (not even a refund). Host never responded until day before arrival and just would send generic emails about arrival and info. No remorse from host so just being a greedy money grabber. Spoke with many other friends about situation and they had stories from friends from different hosts on different places they were to stay and a few had to reschedule last minute and they said there hosts had no issues with reschedule. This host didn’t care.
This small cabin was perfect for our 3 day stay near Mt. Baker and the Northern Cascades. The cabin is exceptionally clean, well appointed and secure. We are an older couple who enjoy traveling by car and exploring new areas. The cabin had everything we needed and is recently renovated. I highly recommend!
The house is picture perfect, tiny but nicely decorated and layed out. The neighborhood is very eclectic. I thought we would be closer to water according to the images on the listing, but it is not which was fine. Also, make sure you stop along the way and grab some food! The nearest place is a pizza place that is about 8 minutes away called the North Fork Brewery, it is outstanding! Great service, portions are good and beer selection is wide. We did venture over to Lynden for lunch- DO go to the Rusty Wheel. This place has a small town charm and food that is home cooking. The people are so nice it is down home hospitality. Hard to believe it is so close to Seattle (2.25 hour drive) but the vibe is so different. The jacuzzi tub was relaxing and set just right. The fireplace ambiance was so romantic for our couples getaway. No kids, no dogs. Just us. PERFECT! We brought our outdoor screen and video player but there is no place to plug those types of things in. BBQ is super basic charcoal one but sufficient. Plenty of towels and other essentials. Bring extra toilet tissue and paper towels (you will thank me later). We will definitely be back.
