Modern 'Sugar Chalet' w/ Firepit and Cozy Decor

Sugar Chalet has all the characteristics of mountain architecture and décor. This cozy three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath home features high vaulted pine ceilings with a home office in the loft. The Master bedroom has a King bed and the second bedroom has a Queen bed with full-size bunk beds in the third bedroom. All bedrooms have large flat-screen TVs. In addition, the Loft area has a twin sleeper. New kitchen and appliances, summer 2021. The kitchen features granite countertops, and custom cabinets, and is fully equipped. Enjoy the ambiance of an electric fireplace in the family room, which features an abundance of oversized windows along the floor and the ceiling providing southern exposure throughout the entire day and AMAZING sunsets. Be at peace on the huge back deck where you can sit and enjoy listening to the babbling brook that runs through the yard. This home also features a garage that is available for guests' convenience with an EV charging station. If you are looking for a place to stay and forget all your troubles and just RELAX, this is it. A New Heating/Air system was installed in 2020. No Smoking. No Pets. No Check-in's Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day. All guests are required to sign a rental agreement upon booking.

This home is absolutely stunning!!!! It has everything you could possibly need spacious master and bathroom, bunk beds are large garage beautiful deck and outdoor area!! Close to everything but yet still in mountains beautiful views would stay again!!

Exceeded Expectations

This house was a great rental for my family and in-laws. The house was complete with all the necessities and went above and beyond with what they provided. Clean, comfortable and close to the slopes - I could walk to the top of Oma's Meadow in 10 minutes! Great experience all around.

This place was beautiful, homey, and exceptionally clean. I’m picky about cleanliness and had zero complaints. With thoughtful touches like a drive-in garage with an EV charger, plush towels, a fully stocked bar, and kitchen, it truly felt like someone’s personal mountain getaway rather than a typical rental. We would absolutely stay here again.A few small suggestions for future guests and management:-If you have sensitive skin or allergies, you may want to bring your own linens, as the sheets and towels are clearly washed with scented detergent, fabric softener, or dryer sheets.-If you’re arriving after sunset, I’d recommend letting management know in advance so they can turn on the porch lights and shovel the front walkway. Our arrival was a bit treacherous without these.-The home was quite cold when we arrived—the thermostat was set to 55 degrees and took a long time to warm up. Requesting the heat be turned on ahead of time would make for a more comfortable arrival.All of these items are easily fixable, and they don’t take away from the fact that the space was exceptionally clean, beautiful, and well cared for.

Amazing Cabin!!

This cabin was stunning!! So pretty on the inside with amazing floor to ceiling windows facing peaceful woods and a babbling creek. Impeccably clean. Beds comfortable and bedding was nice. Whole cabin was nicely decorated with upscale finishes. The property seemed very new. Also, it was great to have a garage to park our car in. Kept it a little warmer over night. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was good, about 10-15 minutes drive to ski lift. We loved our time there and wished we could have stayed longer!

The weather ranged from 20-50 degrees and Oma’s Meadow was open with relatively no lines. Snow was being made on Friday and slopes were icy that day, but everything warmed up the rest of the weekend for pleasant skiing. The house has some newer furnishings this year and is well stocked. Very happy with our rental.

This is easily the best furnished and maintained property I have ever booked. We stayed for a long COVID friendly weekend with our teenage boys and had a great time hiking, sightseeing and coastering.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This chalet is sooooo close to sugar mountain. It saved us so much time on commuting for skiing. The chalet is so nice. Super clean and all the necessities. The only that thing was frustrating was having to go to a rental office to pickup and drop off keys. Most of the places we’ve stayed in sugar have key codes and it makes it so much easier. Also, this place makes you take your trash to dump it after you leave... we’ve never had to do that with other rentals in sugar. Otherwise, it was super nice and really close and we really enjoyed it!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was wonderful, with great views through the large windows. It snowed on Christmas Eve and gave us a white Christmas. We loved the decor and the style of the home as well. The only thing I would suggest is, if you're visiting in the winter (or during a time when it could potentially snow), make sure you have an AWD vehicle or snow chains or the ability to drive up the driveway which is sloped down to the garage. We were stuck and could not get the car out, so we had to take taxis for a couple of days.

Beach to Mountain Weekend Getaway!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a wonderful rental property! We thoroughly enjoyed our quick trip to the mountains, we stayed mid-November. Our sole purpose was to experience s the local alpine roller coaster, which was everyone’s favorite and a must for anyone visiting the area. We’ve stayed in quite a few rental properties and this property was one of the most well-stocked properties ever. We brought everything we could possibly think of / what we’ve needed to bring at other rentals. We did not need anything! The cabinets were stocked with plenty of flatware, glassware, etc. - BUT - also stocked with all types of spices, ziplock bagggies, trash bags, soap (especially in the bathrooms), toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent (we didn’t need it, but if we did, it was there)... it had pretty much everything. We were all very impressed. We had also read some previous reviews that said the heater didn’t keep up well during cold spells, so we came prepared with extra blankets and clothes. We didn’t find that we needed those either. However, it didn’t get too cold. It was cold for beach folks though. 😉 Point is, there were plenty of extra blankets in the house for us. Our ONLY compliant, and we didn’t even notify the rental company over it while there, was that the oven didn’t work - well only high broil worked. We made due and learned how to improvise by baking / cooking on broil. Overall, amazing property and we would definitely stay again.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and the cabin but the HVAC isn't large enough to heat the cabin. I called the realty company and someone came out quickly but he informed us the cabin's havc unit wasn't large enough to heat it properly. The master bedroom never got above 60 degrees with the heat set on 80 for two days.

We enjoyed this cabin a lot. The heating wasn’t able to keep up with the cold outside so it was a chilly 62-64 inside even after calling the maintenance guy. But none the less we enjoyed the downtime.
