Hosts were truly amazing & had everything in order for the relaxing reset we needed to brave the upcoming Holiday season. The train itself was such an experience for our Littles but how comfortable & accommodating was the real beauty. Water was low due to lack of rain so fishing wasn’t pristine yet simply looking around the wildlife was abundant & made that red caboose radiate with charm all its own. The Littles enjoyed the hammock & yard toys and had a morning full of memories & mess. It was absolutely perfect for our weekend Family getaway

What a fun place, especially if you like historical things. Many of the original caboose details were left including the air brakes control and gauge. Place was clean and Mark was very responsive and helpful. If you’re towing a boat you can park on the grass allowing you to make a u turn and point to the road. Exterior power is available too for charging trolling motors. It’s snug inside but plenty of room for three or four people.

Very enjoyable and the grandkids loved it. My grandson said he was in heaven lol. Authentic and peaceful. The only complaint I have is it needed some deep cleaning. Wish it would have been cooler so we could have played some games on the back deck. Sounds like we need a Fall trip.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience! We enjoyed the peace and quiet that this location had to offer. Beautiful sunset view off Lake Limestone in a vintage train caboose!! Incredible! Attention to all the details did not go unnoticed. Highly recommend this location for couples or a small family.

Property is very unique and cute, nice place to enjoy a campfire. I just happened to book on very cold and wet weekend but was still able to relax and enjoy it. I would stay here again but probably in warmer months.

Quiet Charming Perfect

A very quiet place to stay with a sunset lake view. Incredibly charming Caboose with a lot of attention to detail. My wife was already talking about the next time we should stay before we left.

Fun Caboose

The red caboose was definitely unique! It was amazing how well the space was utilized and all the amenities packed into it. We were in the area for family gatherings so didn't spend much time at the caboose but it was quiet, peaceful and the views each morning and evening were beautiful.

Great Views!

We had a great time! We arrived at night and did not get to see the surrounding area. When we woke up in the morning we were mesmerized by the fantastic view of the lake off the rear deck! It is quiet and beautiful!

Quality and great, efficient use of space

Very thoughtful organization of small space made it everything we needed and more. Our only disappointment was not being able to access the dock with our boat.
