A Gem.

My husband and I arrived in the evening with lost luggage. The owners were very helpful, especially since my husbands luggage arrived 1 week late. The location is fantastic, the nature around never disappointed us. Waking up to the soft chime of bells as the sheep moved around was a treat. If you enjoy hiking and biking this is the perfect spot. A car is definitely a must, but there is a bus service. The apartment was very comfortable, the bed as well. The owners had a very extensive movie file in different languages, adult as well as children's movies. There was an outdoor area with an really nice grill, tables and more. We were here for 3 week's, and loved every minute of it. If we return to this area we will definitely return to this rental.

Er mist een woonkamer en een bubbelbad

Mooie plek, maar het appartement heeft geen woonkamer, terwijl dit op de site wel staat vermeld. Verder was er sprake van een bubbelbad, maar die hebben we ook niet kunnen vinden. De beheerster sprak geen woord engels en nauwelijks frans. Communicatie was dus niet mogelijk en de beheerster toonde nauwelijks belangstelling voor ons.

We appreciate your comment, even though we do not understand very well the description you make of our Studio. The description of the VRBO listing indicates that it is a studio, therefore the same space is occupied by the living room and the bedroom. In no section of the ad description does it indicate that there is a bubble bath (Jacuzzi), which we do have in other apartments. It is possible that the chosen apartment was confused (which in this case was a studio). Our intention is always to bother guests as little as possible, but they are told that we are always there for whatever they need.

Buena experiencia

Un entorno muy agradable para pasar unos días, mar, montaña y en estas fechas (octubre) calma total. Perfecto para desconectar de la rutina diaria y relajarse. Por poner un pero la falta de comercios básicos aunque en coche a 10 minutos tenemos Laredo o Castro Urdiales. Recomendable. Muchas gracias Carmen.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Die Lage des Objektes ist für erholsame Strandtage und Wanderungen sehr geeignet. Wir hatten eine Terrasse mit Hängematte und einen kleinen Garten. Es hat uns alles sehr gut gefallen.

Sonabia - ein Traumstrand in einer herrlichen Bucht

sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit Freisitz, Hängematte und eigenem Garten mit zwei Liegen; Traumstrand in der Bucht über herrlichen Weg in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar; von Bergen umgeben, einfach tolle Lage; sehr nette Vermieter; Küche könnte etwas besser ausgestattet sein, hat aber einen großen Kühlschrank und Gefrieschrank; Einkauf von Lebensmitteln 15 Minuten Fahrzeit zum EROSKI in Castro-Urdiales; im Ort ein Restaurant mit sehr gutem Ausblick

Fantástico !!!!

Carmen ha sido muy amable. El apartamento es mejor de lo que sale en las fotos, puesto que en directo es más espectacular el entorno de las montañas y playas de Sonabia. El porche es una delicia para almorzar o desayunar mirando a la playa de Oriñon o a los ojos del diablo en la montaña.Lugar super tranquilo.

Appartement agréable et bien situé

Appartement très fonctionnel et propre, avec tous les éléments de confort. La plage de Sonabia est vraiment magnifique et vaut le petit effort de marche. Petit cafouillage sur l'adresse de l'appartement : mieux vaut ne pas se fier à l'adresse indiquée sur Google maps et demander l'itinéraire à Carmen.

Agréable séjour chez Carmen

Réservation et échanges par mail très simple avec des réponses rapides. L'accueil a été très agréable avec un maximum d'informations sur la région. Le logement est parfait, très propre, bien aménagé, bien équipé, avec en plus la terrasse abritée et surtout le petit jardin qui permet de manger ou se reposer au calme. Le village est calme. On peut poser la voiture au parking de la maison et trouver 2 restaurants, des chemins de randonnée et un accès facile à la presqu'île de la Ballena ainsi qu'à la très jolie plage de sable de Sonabia. Nous recommandons le studio de Carmen.

Tolle Lage, saubere Unterkunft und sehr nette Vermieter

Der Ort ist ideal als Startpunkt in die nähere und weitere Umgebung. Der Strand ist klasse und man kann Wanderungen ( leicht bis schwierig) machen. Die Wohnung ist gut, man hat einen Gartenbereich und eine vordere Terrasse. Die Vermieter sind sehr herzlich und geben jede Menge nützliche Informationen. Ein Mietwagen ist notwendig um Einzukaufen und Ziele ausserhalb des Ortes anzusteuern. Gerne wieder!

While the apartment is quite small without an actual sitting room, it was fine for my daughter and me. It has a small kitchen which we cooked in every night. The bathroom is lovely with great shower pressure and plenty of hot water. The bedroom was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. The location is the bomb! You can walk to all the views and explore on foot. The town is very small and car is needed to get around to other larger towns. The hike to Devil Eyes is harder than one might think if you talk to the owner who made it seem quite easy. It's steeper than I felt comfortable with and the descent is quite frankly dangerous if you climb down the cliff side behind the apartment. The pictures don'[t do Sonabia justice.

Décor de rêve pour visiter le pays basque espagnol

Nous avons eu un très bel accueil de Carmen et Pedro. Pedro a pris le temps de nous donner de l'information sur les incontournables de sa belle région. Nous constatons à quel point les propriétaires sont fiers de leur coin de pays.Leurs commentaires ont été très utiles. La description de l'appartement est conforme en tous points à ce qu'on peut lire sur le site. La cuisine est bien équipée, la literie et les serviettes sont de bonne qualité. C'est très propre et l'espace bien utilisé. Tout est fonctionnel. Sonabia est situé à égales distances de Santander et Bilbao. Les instructions données par Carmen étaient claires et nous n'avons eu aucun problème à trouver l'endroit. Nous recommandons fortement cette propriété. Endroit calme. Excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Viaggio in una terra selvaggia e primitiva

Siamo stati in Cantabria - con sconfinamento nei Paesi Baschi (Bilbao) - a metà aprile ed è un viaggio che consigliamo, tanta è la bellezza naturale dei luoghi ed il patrimonio artistico che la contraddistingue. Abbiamo scelto come base per il riposo, l'appartamento di Carmen, a Sonabia, che ha contribuito grandemente al nostro benessere. La casa è pulita, arredata con gusto, dotata di quanto necessario per poter soggiornare e Carmen è molto gentile e gradevole. La camera da letto ha una fantastica parete finestrata (bovindo) dalla quale si vede il mare e la spiaggia di Orinon. Dalla finestra del bagno e dal terrazzino d'ingresso si vedono invece le rocce, sorvolate dagli avvoltoi, ed i prati verdi dove brucano mucche, vitellini e cavalli. Perché Sonabia non è che un piccolo borgo sulla costa cantabrica ed uscendo di casa si raggiungono facilmente a piedi splendide baie. La casa è isolata e dotata di tutta la tranquillità di cui si ha necessità in vacanza, ma è a non più di cinque chilometri dall'uscita dell'autostrada senza pedaggio che attraversa, comodamente, tutta la regione. gîte de Carmen à Sonabia

Séjour très agréable dans un gîte super confortable .Le descriptif photographique est conforme à la réalité. L'accueil de Carmen et de son mari est excellent. La Cantabrie sous le soleil de septembre est une région très accueillante.
