This property was just as it appears in the pictures. It's ideally located near Seward. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Owner Lona is extremely kind and sweet. She even shared her delicious bear paw cookies with us. So good! The house is very unique with one of the kind decorations! At least for me they are my first time. convenient location and matched Google Maps direction.

Perfect place to stay when in Seward. This home is very well stocked and had everything we needed plus more. The host is so nice and friendly. The cookies were a nice touch also. You can't go wrong staying here.

Great location and very accommodating hosts! We had fun playing corn hole and horseshoes at the end of each day. We wanted to enjoy the bonfire and make s’mores but we ran out of time! Lona was a great host and we LOVED the cookies! Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed the decor and taxidermy, making it a real sportsman-type feel; a true contribution to the Alaskan experience. Great floor plan, with ample sleeping accommodations in the 3 bedrooms, each with a queen and twin bed. Both indoor and outdoor eating areas available, recreation such as horse shoes, corn hole, etc. Laundry is free and inside. Dean and Lona are fantastic hosts!!! Thank you for the kindness/hospitality and the freshly made cookies were an excellent touch. We will be back.

This home in Seward is stunning and my family of 4 LOVED our stay there! The hosts were sweet and helpful, with lots of local recommendations. The property is gorgeous and has more than everything you could imagine. The kitchen in particular was stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy meals. The home is super clean with incredible views; we saw countless bald eagles and enjoyed quiet mornings on the porch with coffee and endless views. Lona is a gem and took excellent care of us! The taxidermied animals add a really cool Alaskan vibe. We would love to come back and stay at this property again in the future!

This spot was a 10 out of 10! Lona is a gem of a host and a really great human. It was hard to leave. You can tell that she puts her heart into the home by the way it's cared for and the way we were greeted. After a very long travel day and more adventures to come for our family of 5, this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everyone had their space, and we loved the porches, grill, firepit, and yard games. The house was very clean, very well-stocked, with little extras like a plate of cookies, cozy blankets, and even slippers. This trip has been a bucket list for 20 years, to show my kids Alaska and all the beauty surrounding - and having a spot like this added to the awesomeness of our trip!

My family had a wonderful stay at the Alaska sportsman’s home. The home has the best Alaskan decor! Everything was clean and well stocked. The owner came by to check on us and we enjoyed chatting with him.
