This was our third time staying at this property and we are planning for more. Great location love the beach. For an added bonus, they fixed the road yes, the host has a little control over that but it was awesome to have the road repaired.

Absolutely gorgeous place right on the beach. The gardens surrounding the house are incredible. The sunsets from the rooftop, amazing. It is a private oasis on the beach! Perfect for our 30 year wedding anniversary

Casa Alegre is awesome! It was the perfect place to stay, you are t in the touristy town but a great place to relax. The beach was awesome and the people in the area were friendly and welcoming. The property management team addressed any concerns quickly! When we visit Costa Rica again we will be back at Casa Alegre

We often had the entire beach all to ourselves. The kids LOVED the pool. The property manager was very responsive to questions and very helpful with suggestions. We even got to release baby turtles! We had 4 adults and 2 children. Understand the layout of the bedrooms if you have young children. Ours slept on the sleeper sofa in the living space to be close to their parents in the primary bedroom. Two bedrooms are downstairs on the beach side of the house so whoever sleeps there must go around the house to the front stairs to get to the living space and the kitchen. It worked great for us. Rooftop patio was perfect for amazing sunset views. There were many great restaurants nearby. It was a great stay! We would stay again.

Amazing House!!

We loved our stay!! Views were stunning, pool was fabulous and the customer service was outstanding!!! I loved how isolated it was, I think we saw 2 people on the beach the five days we were there! We will definitely be back!!

Great location

This place is off the beaten path right on the beach! Property manager and care takers were great. Pool was a nice bonus on a hot day. The layout is different and described well in the listing. Met all our needs. Great stay!

Breathtaking Views

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The sound of the waves, the secluded beach, the pool, hermit crabs and the family time were amazing! We loved our time! Please note, the rooms are all separate, it took a few minutes to adjust but then it was completely fine! The kids enjoyed their own little space! Communication with the host was great! Pura Vida!

Lovely private feeling hide away

Very nice and spacious house. There is an ocean view from the master bedroom, kitchen and rooftop patio. Property manager is communicative and helpful.

Great get-away

This was our first Costa Rica trip and it didn't disappoint. The house is rustic, but has everything you need and the location is amazing. The top deck in particular is worth every penny. If you're looking for something out of the way, I'd definitely recommend this stay. We loved it.

Host was super nice and informative. The place is a glorious site and we can’t say enough about how beautiful, peaceful, private and relaxing our entire stay was! Every day was heavenly! The pool was perfect as the days got hotter by the minute! So refreshing to jump in, get cool and enjoy the sun…tropical sites and wonderful sounds of nature all around us! This place is an oasis and we definitely recommend it! Shower had nice pressure. AC units kept us cool at night. Sleeping was awesome to the sound of the constant waves. Stars were abundant at night. You definitely need a slightly bigger vehicle to get up and down the long and rough roads. A car would be a little difficult. Having a washer dryer available was really nice as we stayed 11 days in paradise! Kitchen had most everything we needed to make dinners…a few local grocery stores had what we wanted, including tequila.

Unique Beach front paradise

This property had everything my family was looking for in a relaxing secluded beach side vacation! We had the most amazing time enjoying the wild life including a pack of monkeys and raccoons that visited through out our stay! We felt safe with Fernando the house keeper staying on the property, as well as a good security system. The pool was beautiful and relaxing and roof top sun sets were magical. If you are looking to unwind on almost private beach this is the spot!

Junquillal Beachfront Paradise

Beautiful house 75 feet from an amazing beach. Very quite and private. The rooftop patio is a great place to spend time at night looking at stars. House and grounds are clean and well maintained. Easy and quick communication with Brenda and Fernando the onsite caretaker was always available.
