This is probably one of the best properties I have stayed at. The home was clean and inviting. There was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The fire pit was a bonus! The outdoor area was just as appealing as inside the house! I will definitely stay here next time I am in town!
Three ladies stayed here for two nights for a quick weekend getaway. Overall our stay was good, but there are things that need improved and more attention before it can be rated higher. First the good; the neighborhood is quiet and in a good location to amenities. The three
Highly recommend. The home was exactly as we expected. Clean, comfortable, and functional. Excellent WiFi, nice quiet neighborhood. The owners went above and beyond to help us figure out the smart TV as we were not familiar.
Friends stayed here for a rabbit show over the weekend. The house is just like the photos; very clean, fresh, comfortable, uncluttered rooms. The only sounds during the night was the tapping of raindrops on the window, and a couple distant train whistles. It was hard to imagine that shopping and city traffic was just 10 minute drive. A very enjoyable stay.
This was our 2nd stay at the red house while in town to visit family. Perfect location and space for our family of four. Friendly communication with the owner. Would happily stay again. Recommend!
Our family was in Richmond for a baby shower; We really enjoyed our stay at the Red House. The property was a lot of fun for family with a really cool tree swing, a fire pit and a nearby property had the most friendly horse and mule that my grandkids absolutely loved! (Property owners didn’t mind us visiting the horses either). So very kind. Kevin, the property owner, was amazing and responded very quickly to any of our concerns.
Our family of four (adults and teen) spent several days at the red house while visiting family in Richmond and loved our stay. The house is welcoming and located in a quiet, park-like neighborhood on the outskirts of town. Communication with the host was easy. I had to finish an online college class while there, and the wifi was fast and reliable. The swing was a favorite hangout for our teen. We would love to return next year.
The house was wonderfully located for the wedding we were in town for. We were able to have the bride and groom over for dinner so that we could discuss our responsibilities for the wedding. We loved that it was close to Glenn Miller Park and Hayes Arboreteum. We know we will be back to the area to visit the family now in the area and it is nice to have a place to call 'home' while we are there.
We had a great stay at The Red House. We have family in the area and Red House the perfect place for all of us to gather and visit for the first time in over a year. Even though just adults stayed at the house, the house and yard were great for the little ones that stopped by to run around and play. Having a large table that sat 8 to eat as a family was wonderful
The Red House was everything we were hoping for and had a great stay. The gathering areas were so comfy and inviting, beds were great, and the neighborhood was quiet and pretty. Didn’t have time to use the fire pit in back, but it was so nice. Will be back in the area again and look forward to “coming home” to the Red House.
Property was on an acre lot that suited our needs. Was in town for funeral of loved one as location provided me with the solitude I needed to grieve.
Two drawbacks. Small TV AND ONE BATHROOM.
This was our second time staying at The Red House, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. We bought groceries for the week, the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner every day. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. This place is definitely our favorite place to stay while visiting Richmond! Thanks for sharing your home with us Kevin!
The property owner was fabulous to work with. Check in was easy. Home was clean and very nice. Better than we had expected. Would definitely use the property again.
