Large house on a beautiful lot. Located close to lots of restaurants and stores. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need. Tom was very helpful with instructions to the location and a joy to talk to while there. Would definitely stay there again.
Great property. Best kitchen set up for a VRBO!! Tom is very nice and helpful. Location is convenient for access to all parts of town. Just watch the steps down to the front door.
Cute, basement floor of house. Everything we needed. Floors could use some additional cleaning. However, Tom was an awesome host, super generous and brought us coffee and strawberries. Will stay with him again next time we're in that area of MT. Thanks again, Tom!
It was a very nice house. Very clean, lots of room and space. The owner was wonderful, very attentive and accessible. We'd definitely stay there again.
This was a great place to stay. Hosts were excellent, helpful, kind, and made our stay very comfortable. The place was roomy, clean, and perfect for our needs. Would definitely recommend this place to others!
Group of friends/family traveling into Missoula to watch the Griz play. Good location, parking, and ample room/bedrooms! Perfect for our trip! Hosts were super helpful!
We really enjoyed our stay with Tom and Ann. The kitchen was well-equipped for simple food prep, everything was so clean and comfortable. Their place provided a nice retreat when we return from our day time adventures.
This large three bedroom apartment under the owners' house was very clean, homey, and thoughtfully stocked with many things renters might need. The separate entrance into the bright kitchen from the large patio lets in a lot of light. It's a short distance out of town, but everything in Missoula feels close, so though we'd planned to stay in town, we were fine being in this spacious place.
This apartment was very clean, well decorated and very spacious. The 3 large bedrooms and 2 baths ply a large kitchen and family were perfect for our family. Close to everything you would need and the hosts were fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean, spacious, private property that was perfect for our family. Lovely patio to enjoy breakfast and coffee in the morning. Rooms were large, beds comfortable. It felt like home!
This was a great place. Our family was able to spend the weekend together in a fun way without breaking the bank. Thank you for having such a nice place for our weekend 😀
This was the perfect home base for our family of 4 on our MT ski trip. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Tom was a terrific host. We would stay here again for sure. Thanks Tom!
Very nice, peaceful neighborhood. Close to a main thoroughfare that made it easy to get places. Clean and plenty of room. Definitely recommend this property and will consider for future visits.
3 bedrooms in the daylight basement of the owner’s home. Owners, Tom and Ann, went the extra step to accommodate us. Not fancy but spacious.

About the host

I am a retired high school math teacher. I grew up on a ranch in Wyoming.. I have done lots of construction and enjoy working with my hands. My wife is an occupational therapist and still works part time. We both enjoy meeting new people and enjoy hosting.
Why they chose this property
We are in a semi rural area away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. A horse next door and frequent deer in our yard. There are about 100 acres of state land across the street with miles of walking paths available. We are conveniently located one half a mile from the city limits. All of Missoula is within 10 to 20 minutes of our location.
What makes this property unique
We are about one mile from Community hospital and about 4 miles from St Patrick hospital. We are about one mile away from the huge parks and recreational fields at Fort Missoula. We are across the street from the Montana State Tree Nursery. The DNRC (Department of Natural Resources and Conservation/nursery) easily has 4 or 5 miles of roads and trails for easy walking to relax and stretch your legs. Wildlife include dear, occasional fox, seasonal geese, a rare racoon. This area is available for the public. You have a semi rural feeling with lots of space. A large yard available for lawn games. A bocci ball set is provided. Lots of parking available in front and also more private parking in the back of the house if needed. Horses next door. There is a huge garden in the back of the property.
