Stone Lake
Located in Stone Lake, this cabin is in a rural area and on the waterfront. While the natural beauty of Benson Creek State Wildlife Management Area and Hauer Springs State Wildlife Management Area can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can head to Tagalong Golf & Resort. Take in the nearby slopes with cross-country skiing, or try out other outdoor activities such as sledging and snowmobiling.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spotless cabin! Everything was clean, cozy, and just as pictured. We especially loved spending our days fishing and swimming at the nearby sandbar—it was a perfect spot for relaxing and making memories.
This is a wonderfully maintained property. The place was immaculate when we arrived, and had everything we were hoping for. Perfect family getaway with plenty of room to spread out.

David, thank you for leaving our cabin clean and for doing the towels. We appreciate it. You are exceptional guests. Glad you had a wonderful family vacation. Please come back anytime.
Had a great week away in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The cabin is on the water of a nice clear Wisconsin lake that has all target species for those looking to fish. The lake has much less boat traffic than larger bodies of water closer to Hayward. A nice sand bar on the lake for the kids to hangout and swim. The cabin was very spacious and was comfortable for 6 adults with 3 school aged kids. Paddle boat and kayaks were at the dock for use.

Shane great to hear you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for taking care of our cabin. You and your family are welcome back anytime.
We had another perfect week on the lake! The cabin is everything you need on the lake up north and love how peaceful it is! We spent all day on lake, fished and came back for cozy dinner at the cabin! One of our favorite spots!
My family and I spent the past week here and fell in love. The cabin was so beautiful, wonderful accommodations and plenty of room to spread out. We loved fishing off the pier and boat, kids played for hours in the sand bar and sunset boat cruises at night. This is a special spot and we hope to be back next summer for more memories. Thank you to Pam, Frank and Amanda for a wonderful week!

The house was spotless, fully stocked kitchen, lots of clean linens, easy to find, close to Butternut Hills Golf, lake is amazing, dock area and sand bar area perfect for kids, view from house is stunning. This was a perfect place for 10 of us for a week and a wonderful view of the lake. Kudos to Amanda and to Pam for answering all questions and being so welcoming!

We want to thank you for being wonderful guests. Leaving our cabin in wonderful condition. Thank you for doing the sheets and towels. You went above and beyond. You are invited back anytime.
The second we pulled into the drive way we knew this place was going to be great! The pictures did not do it justice, the place is so nicely decorated and was supplied with everything you need to be able to spend a week relaxing and cooking for our family. The beds were super comfortable, as was the sitting area. Communicating with the owners was very easy and they were always quick to respond. The place was spotless when we arrived and everything was well taken care of. The lake itself was great, swimming at the sand bar was nice and the fishing was pretty decent. We have been doing an annual trip for 5 years now and this is the first place we all agreed we would like to return to.

Beautiful lake front log home on Big Sissabagama in Stone Lake. Huge lofted great room open to the kitchen was our favorite gathering place. Three generations of family and sig others all wowed by the home and views. Pontoon boat allowed us to tour the lake. Early season fishing tough but warmer weather helped and we hooked many crappie, a couple pike, walleye, many LMB and a bonus SMB. Thanks to Pamela and Frank for a great time.

Michael and Mary We are so glad to hear that everyone enjoyed their stay.
Love to see any fishing pictures you would like to share. I am going to make a collage of guests pics on the screen porch.
Thank you for being wonderful guests! You went above and beyond by stripping the beds and starting the laundry. Very much appreciated..
You and your family are welcome back to our cabin anytime.
The property was beautiful and very clean. The property manager met us with the pontoon keys that we rented and answered any questions we had. They have a roaster, griddle and various other things to use. We contacted her a couple of times and she was right there. Having had a knee replacement the 45 stairs to go down to the fire pit and the lake proved to be challenging. There was plenty of sleeping space as they also had a blow up mattress. There was plenty to do around the area. We went to Shell Lake Beach, Hayward, the Wilderness Walk and our kids went to Trego and did a float trip one day. If you want to horseback ride make your reservation to do that ahead of time. When we got there they were booked up for a couple of weeks. All in all it was a wonderful place to spend the week!
We had 3 families stay. Here is a review from one of the families : Great place, secluded for privacy overall great experience.
Would stay there again.
Amanda was great host.
From another family :
Things i liked:
Secluded, a lot of wildlife
Boat/canoe for water activities
Comfortable and clean space
Amanda was amazing
Amenities available and appreciated the washer/dryer, dishwasher and grill
From our family: we had such a great time. Definitely enough space for our 3 families (13 in total) to sleep and spread out. Loved the large kitchen space! Beautiful wildlife/scenery. Enjoyed a fire almost every night. Our children loved the swim area by the dock, perfect for our small children. Sandy and not too deep.
We did have/hear mice in the walls, but to be expected in the country.
Amanda was a great hostess and even brought over a chrysalis so we could watch a butterfly hatch.
Everything was so nice and clean.
We enjoyed working on puzzles together in the loft.
Our only bummer was a little over half our crew felt dizzy quite a bit. We think it was from motion sickness from watching water and being on boat.

Wonderful to hear that everyone had an enjoyable stay.
We had a great time at the lake over Labor Day. The cabin was perfect for our two families and the lake was awesome for cruising,
Fishing, and water sport fun!
Overall, a great place to stay. We had 6 adults and 1 child (4 year old). The cabin had plenty of beds and bathrooms for us. It was very comfortable and nicely decorated. Lake Sissabagama is large enough to give you plenty of places to explore but not so big that it took forever to get places. We spent a lot of time on the pontoon and a lot of time on our kayaks. The cabin had a few spots that had not been cleaned quite as well as we would have liked, but overall was fine. We thought the cabin could have used a few more chairs-some in the bedrooms and some around the table in the loft. We were overall very pleased and would go back again.

Pleased to hear you had a nice vacation. Thank you for leaving the cabin in good shape. We welcome you back anytime.
Everything was fantastic from booking to checkout. The owner communicated clearly details to make check in a breeze and the property manager made herself available for questions and recommendations.
The property itself is beautiful—secluded, but it close enough to town that is not inconvenient to make a supple run. The property was clean and well maintained. Everything we needed for our family to enjoy a week relaxing at the lake.

Thank you for the wonderful review. Also, thank you for leaving the cabin clean and also starting the towels. Much appreciated.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Pam and Frank's beautiful log cabin! The cabin was very clean, had plenty of room for our group of 12, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, TVs, games, WiFi, etc. We also rented their pontoon which is large and very nice! Amanda met with us and was super friendly. She answered any of our questions, gave us help with the pontoon and fishing hot spots. Communication with Pam was excellent! Big Sissabagama lake is very nice, large, great for fishing, and we enjoyed the sand bar more than once which worked well with our young grandchildren. We will definitely return. Thanks Pam, Frank, and Amanda!!

Thanks to you and your family. You left our cabin in excellent condition. We feel so fortunate when we have people that respect the property they rent. You went above and beyond our expectations in cleaning up the cabin.
Our families were, despite the incredible description, pleasantly surprised by the cabin! Photos just don't do it justice. The bedrooms were comfortably furnished, over sized, well decorated and just cozy. There was enough space across all 3 levels for our group of 12 to spread out or come together for meals and we had a great time on the lake fishing and swimming. Pamela's communication regarding any questions we had was quick and fantastic. It was great to have a neighbor near by to point out fishing spots as well. The cabin was incredibly clean and even a little whimsical across all three levels. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!
Pam and Frank’s cabin was perfect for our family vacation. Plenty to do for all of us - our adult sons, their girlfriends and my husband and me. We rented their pontoon boat and fished, brought our kayaks, used their canoe, played bags, had several bonfires, ate at the local Fish Fry on Friday night - and also had plenty of family time to relax and enjoy each others’ company. 😊 Amanda was there to greet us within 30 minutes of our arrival and shared information about the area as well as good fishing spots. The kitchen has everything you need and they have several games (including bags) for entertainment. Plenty of space to hang out together or find a spot to read or have some peace and quiet. Also the beds are very comfortable! We would definitely go again! Thank you Pam, Frank and Amanda!

Mari and her family were really wonderful guests to have. They left the place extremely clean. We had great communication. We would highly recommend them to other hosts.
We felt like we won the lottery. The owners Pam and Frank have a beautiful place to stay if you like peace, and privacy! The place was immaculate and everything we needed was available. The rooms were great and the beds very comfortable! The fishing was fantastic we caught every species in that lake I think from Muskie to crappie. Not only was the place amazing the owners were more amazing. They made sure we knew the area and gave us options on things to do and see, but all we needed was a lake! Thank you for providing such a great place for our vacation. Alls we had to do was create memories, which we did and it was easy!! Highly recommend spending your time at Pam and Franks!!
