The loft, a luxurious 3 room suite is located upstairs in the Kentucky Bourbon House, it is steps from the Court Square in downtown Historic Bardstown. It is within walking distance to everything our town has to offer. The loft features a Master Bedroom and Bathroom. Across the hall is the Great Room, a spacious retreat where you can relax and unwind with a Bourbon Coffee in the morning or with your favorite Bourbon Cocktail in the evening. We had a wonderful stay, much needed weekend getaway! The bed was incredibly comfortable and cozy, and I appreciated the extra blankets it had. Yes, the roadway outside was a little nosy at times, but that is unavoidable and wasn’t a big deal. I always pack a fan and with the provided sound machine, it drowned out the noise. We slept very well! The historic charm and beautiful space just added to our lovely stay.

This historic mansion was located in the heart of Bardstown. Park the car and walk everywhere!!! We had the upstairs "Bourbon Loft", which consisted of a nice, roomy bedroom and small bathroom. Across the hall we had the entire "great room" lounging area with a TV, coffee maker, and fridge. We enjoyed 4 nights in this wonderful VRBO. The only thing I do have to mention, if you choose any rental in the main part of Bardstown, it will be "buzzing" with activity - people and CARS! The car noise is slightly diminished being on the 2nd floor. This property is located near a "roundabout". It is tucked back from the road - between 2 buildings. We really didn't mind because we were out and about until later evening. The traffic "noise" is more noticeable on the weekday mornings. Would we stay there again, - absolutely! I feel any hints from fellow travelers, is helpful...
