This beautiful creekside retreat truly lives up to its name! Situated on rushing Fightingtown Creek, this lovely 'Southern Living' design cabin boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with all the bells and whistles. The minute you exit your car, you will enjoy the rushing sounds of the creek in your back yard. Cozy up by the fireplace on the screen porch overlooking the creek, play a game of pool in the oversized recreation room or lounge in the 6 person hot tub. Sports fans/movie lovers will enjoy the newly added 52-in plasma TV in the rec room. This cabin has many unique upgrades including kitchen with granite countertops/ stainless appliances and exquisite stonework in the baths. If you enjoy trout fishing, tubing or just playing around in one of the most beautiful creeks in the area, look no further than your front yard! Roast marshmallows in the firepit or just relax in the hammock and watch the creek go by. You will truly enjoy your mountain experience in this luxury cabin.


This is not your 'Typical Cabin'. The furnishings are 5 Star. You will not see a piece of sheet rock on the walls. The entire cabin is filled with hand peeled floors, slate, granite, and wood walls. We had a great time at Creek-N-Awesome. The riverfront is the highlight and we made great use of the wood burning stove on the back porch. Host is very responsive and the cabin is in a good location to Blue Ridge and the apple orchards. Check out Folk Collaborative just up the road for some excellent coffee and pastries. We hope to be back one day.

I've lived in Atlanta area since 1999. This cabin was purchased new in 2007 and has been on a rental program since then. I am only 1 1/2 hours from the cabin so I constantly check in when it's not rented and make sure things are in order.

Why they chose this property

This cabin sits at the end of the road behind a privacy gate that only has one other cabin. No other cabins across the river. You can enjoy a lot of privacy and tranquility.
