Great place for dogs. Beautiful view. Took a walk on the path several times a day and saw many deer. Scott was easy to communicate with. We will be back! Thanks for having us!
This cabin was phenomenal in hosting us for our anniversary. Truly a dog friendly listing with spectacular views. The atmosphere and cabin are beautiful with all of the amenities being in perfect working order. Can’t recommend enough
This is a beautiful cabin and location, although a little difficult to find. However, the hot tub, one reason I rented this property, was dirty so I called the manager who was very responsive. They had to partially drain the tub so it wasn't hot until the 3rd day so I lost 2 days of the hot tub. It rained so we were inside and found out the fireplace would only stay on for 6 minutes. Management tried to solve the problem over the phone but it could not get resolved. Other than that the cabin was beautiful and quite private. I do believe the hot tub should be checked as the cabin is cleaned. We loved the area!
Absolutely amazing views from two decks. Well-stocked kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Fun game room. Communicative host. Handy washer and dryer. Surrounded by trees and beautiful mountain homes.House is in a neighborhood with many vacation homes and you can hear dogs and neighbors. Homes are well lit inside and out. If you are looking for a dark place for star gazing, this is not it. If you do not want to encounter other vacationing families, go elsewhere. The neighborhood road is steep, windy, and one lane - use caution. If your kid is a light sleeper, be aware that the second bedroom is under the living room and the living room floor is *very* squeaky. All in all, we loved our stay. Our teenager was not amused.
The view was incredible even from the jacuzzi on the bottom deck, still perfect! The kids loved the movie theater and it was a quick and easy hike down to the lake each day. Great cabin!
My family and I spent a week in this lovely house and I miss it already. The beds are comfortable, seating is plentiful, and the kitchen is well stocked. The owner provides plenty of supplies. The view is breathtaking--you immediately feel the stress slipping away the minute you walk out onto the deck. We had a wonderful week.
The home was a perfect size for us. We are a family of 6 that included 4 kids between 8-13. We enjoyed hiking and relaxing. This was our first time in Blue Ridge and would definitely visit again.

Not happy
The listing pictures made it seem we were on the lake. We were at the top of the mountain. We did not have a truck to haul the kayaks to the water. There was no Foosball table. The pool table was tiny and frayed from use and only 2 pool sticks had tips and could be used. The hot tub had no was to add water and only 2 jets worked. The bedside lamp in the master is a fire hazard and was not used. The dishwasher had to be slammed shut to work. The showers were terrible. No water pressure. A rocking chair was broken also. Just wished they had been honest with the pictures. Could have brought my truck to transport the kayaks. We survived but was not happy. Won’t ever trust pictures on VRBO again.
We wanted a view and boy did this house deliver. We enjoyed sitting on the porch swing and making s’mores in the fire pit. My kids loved the hot tub and pool table. Perfect house to relax and get away for the weekend.
Best Mountain View I’ve Ever Seen& Family friendly
Breathtaking view from the deck and Master Bedroom. Great amenities. Pool table converts to table tennis, fire pit and hot tub. Fun projector room. The furniture and hot tub cover outside is worn. But it’s so beautiful it doesn’t matter. New favorite place to stay. Thank you!!
Getting to this location in the middle of the night, is a bit tricky, but the views are spectacular. The cabin is a two bedroom and needs so TLC, but we enjoyed our time there. We were disappointed to leave early due to incoming snow storm. If you have a 4 wheel drive auto, you should bring it up to this location. Overall nice stay.
Cabin location was very easy to find, road was a little inclined right before you get to the cabin but was not a challenge.Really close to the lake we were able to go fishing on the kayaks we brought with us.The owners also provided his 2 kayaks but didn't have to use.Our pups were really happy there also and having the wooden area right behind the cabin made it easy for a quick hike with them. The hot tub was a plus and great at night when it got a little cold. Overall was a great stay and plan to book again!Special thanks to the owner for allowing us to bring our pups!

Nice but....
Super easy check in. The house was not
the cleanest. We found an excessive amount of dog hair everywhere. Beds, floor, furniture etc. considering the price we expected more attention to that. It is advertised as a three bedroom. The third bedroom is a curtain around the projector area.
If you are looking for a quick weekend getaway to Blue Ridge, this is a great location! Close to downtown and very pet friendly. You are surrounded by neighbors (so if you’re looking for total seclusion, this is not the place) However, it is located at the top of the mountain in the very back. The views were beautiful and the property is exactly as it is listed. Plenty of space for a family of 5 and our dog! We spent most of our time downstairs playing ping pong and pool. The projector/movie area provided a cozy movie night. I would *highly* suggest using the directions that are provided upon booking; the GPS took us the wrong way. Overall, we had a wonderful trip and would definitely book again.

Just okay
It was a nice cabin the roads going to it were paved, when we got there that cabin hadn't been cleaned we contacted the manager and he offered to try to get someone there or we could take care of it, and he would refund the cleaning fee which he didnt! Then the hot tub jets didn't work so the chemicals weren't getting into it correctly. And finally the kayaks pictured you had to blow up but the pump didn't have an adapter so we couldn't use them. Needless to say we won't be going back there.
Overall, we had a wonderful family vacation in Blue Ridge. And the cabin was a big reason why. Really enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, listening to nature and taking in the incredible views. The location is great, with only a short yet scenic drive to downtown. The cabin was spotless, however there is a lot of wear and tear that needs some attention. Nothing major to effect your stay. Though, the photos are old and don't necessarily depict the current set up. The media room sofa is now a futon (so no room to spread out). Most of the supplied DVDs don't work, so bring your own. The foosball table was MIA. And the hot tub had no chemicals when we arrived. I contacted the property manager on a Sunday, and she was very helpful and responsive. She had someone out later that day to treat the water, and was easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed playing table tennis, billiards, and black jack. All in all, this was the most relaxing vacation we have taken, maybe ever. There is a lot to keep you entertained in the cabin and so much to see nearby.
