About this property

Modern family friendly house in Reykjavik - Birta Rentals

A beautiful, bright and spacious family friendly house, located in a family friendly street /neighbourhood in the capital city area. Only 4km drive to downtown Reykjavik. Golf Club Seltjarnarnes is close by and also Grótta Island lighthouse.

Our house is very well located, close by you have grocery store, bakery, shopping center, gym and swimming pool. The house is just by the ocean and there is a popular walking / bike path that you can use to go into the center of Reykjavik or to Lighthouse Grótta, which at is a popular place to see the Northern Lights when the weather conditions are right. A little further you will end in Nauthólsvík Geothermal beach, there is a very nice restaurant / cafe called Nauthóll.

We have 4 bedrooms in the house, Master Bedroom has King Size Bed (180x200cm) and Single Bed (90x200cm) if needed, bedroom 2 and 3 have Single Beds (120x200cm) and bedroom 4 has single bed ( 90x200cm). In the basement we have spacious room, where we have to day our office and TV room / playroom, with dart, board games etc, there we can also add single bed if needed.
Our kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need, our living room is very nice and spcaious with fireplace. We have spacious laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

It's a very nice house in a nice neighbourhood.

We have a baby crib and highchair available to use for your children.

Linen, towels, soaps and such are included.

We manage over 100 properties here in Iceland, most of them in the Reykjavik area and also outside of Reykjavik.  Please let us know if you would like to split your stay, some nights in Reykjavik and some outside of Reykjavik.  We also offer long term renting.
