Amelia Island Summer Beach Village Home with Private Pool & Steps to the Ocean

Three bedroom home with a private screened pool just steps to the ocean. There are two master suites and one small bedroom. Home was recently remodeled with bright beach colors and design. Travertine floors throughout. Flat screen TV in each bedroom and the main living room. Washer, dryer, dishwasher, and one car garage.

The home is also directly across the street from the community pool. Summer Beach Village is a private quiet family oriented gated community and is located near Amelia Island Plantation with golf and many restaurants nearby. Our home is excellent for groups of up to 6 people.

We ae surrounded by some of the most beautiful golf courses in the world with oceanfront golf holes. There ae many public and private courses where guests can play.

Downtown Fernandina Beach is a quaint historic beach town with the oldest saloon in the country and many antique and unique shops. Come and enjoy, crabbing, fishing, swimming, shelling, dining and shopping in a truly undiscovered paradise. Relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in the country.

Awesome stay

We had a wonderful stay here , the condo is even more spacious than the photos and we had the perfect get away for two couples for a long weekend. The owner was wonderful, allowing early check in and gave us lots of food recommendations. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Getaway

We had bad weather the first few days and loved the privacy and warmth of the heated pool. Location was very close to the beach which we liked as one of us has mobility problems. All in all each one of us had a fun time and will probably return!

Great Stay Number 3

This is the third year that we have stayed at this property everything, is great Strickland is easy to get a hold of. He always calls us before we get there and takes care of any situations that arise. We will be back for year 4.

Another great year

This is our fifth straight year at this property. The property had some nice upgrades from the previous year. There were no issues when we first moved in, but the coffee maker did not work the second day we received a new coffee maker about 10 hours later. This is a type of service is fabulous. I think you cannot find a better property than this one.

Thoroughly enjoyable!

Our family loved this property. The heated pool was especially appreciated as Spring Break weather did not allow us to be on the beach everyday. The community was quiet and lovely. Kitchen adequately equipped. Beds were comfortable. Bring your own beach chairs if you like to sit on the beach. The home was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We will definitely be back! Wonderful Place

We had a lovely time at Amelia Island. This property was perfect - private pool, friendly neighbors, short walk path to the beach, sunrise, beautiful landscape, and many places to see (eg., Egans Creek Greenway), nearby. The property was tastefully furnished - I enjoyed all the wall decorations - every room/ area was beautifully done. The kitchen was well stocked, including Keurig pods. The owner was extremely helpful, making sure we checked in without any issues, and was ready to be of any help, if ever we needed it (we didn't !). Super! Just a wonderful, relaxing stay. We will definitely stay here again - a great experience all the way!

Lovely location & home

Overall great experience. We love the location. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely private pool at the house. We opted for pool heat and are glad we did so. There’s also a larger neighborhood pool across from the house just steps away. 5-8 minute walk to the beach, depending on your ability. Sand dunes are a bit steep but lattice along the path made it easy for us. Some confusion regarding code at checking, but Strickland Holloway was quick to answer and get us up to date with the entry code. We were very comfortable in the beds. We would definitely recommend this home. Great stay!

Perfect vacation home away from home!!

We very much enjoyed our family vacation this year! The home was perfect for my family!… we love Summer beach village and try to stay there every year! This rental was one of the best so far… pool in back yard really came in handy for our grandson because if he wanted to stay instead of going to the beach, myself or his grandfather could stay and watch him so one or the other could walk the beach! The only thing I thought needs addressing was the bed linens and the pillows! Sheets were worn thin and pillows were flat as a board and dingy! Other than that everything was perfect!

Best made memories In this rental! ❤️

Myself and my family have made some of our best memories in this house! My 89 yr old parents and other family members met at our rental for a lovely July 4 th gathering! We have always loved Summer Beach subdivision since our parents once lived in years ago! We are so happy to find this rental especially for the private pool! My parents could sit around the pool even though they couldn’t swim due to their age and health conditions! My husband loved that he also could enjoy watching our great grandson swim in the pool because of a back problem he visited the beach maybe once but he could still enjoy his vacation sitting by the pool! Thank you for such a lovely vacation!

Nice Beach Week

Excellent locational nd property. Like having your own beach house--2 minute walk to a beach all to yourself. Pool is an added bonus. Everybody enjoyed the time.

Perfect vacation

Loved every minute of our stay at Pamela and Strickland property! The house was very clean and pool on back patio was perfect for evening swim. Location was perfect with beach within few minutes ! Would definitely love to come back next year.

Would Stay Again

There were six adults - my husband and I, my daughter and son-in-law, and his mother and dad. The house was large and comfortable, offering plenty of space for gathering as well as privacy. The house was located in a quiet, gated neighborhood with a lovely back patio/pool and literally steps from the beach. Everything was clean - bedding and towels were fresh smelling. I would absolutely stay there again.

Gator Bowl Quarters

Excellent place to spend a quiet beach/golf stay. Not overly far from Jax, but close to a beautiful and sparsely used beach and close to multiple golf venues. Pool was heated and top notch. Prop manager was communicative and helpful. Clean too. Would highly recommend.

Amazing location

Let me say first this is an amazing location. It cannot be beat for accessibility to beach and amenities of the surrounding area. The layout is fantastic and easily accommodates a family. The instructions need to be updated to include the heater for the pool. We did not receive them until the mid on our third day of our stay when the owner called and the pool was on the borderline of usability without the heater. But kids are more tolerable to the cold than parents and still had an amazing time.

Place needs repairs bad.

Loved the location and the house and the pool. But the place looks very neglected and cleaning was missing in the pool area. Couch was not comfortable. No place to relax and rest. Glass table tops is not good for small children. Might want to reconsider those. I don't like posting things like this but I was totally shocked at how dirty it was. Smelled like the floors were mopped in dirty mop water. Could have been a better experience if updated and clean. Sorry.

I am a real estate attorney and my wife is a travel agent. We are both graduates of the University of Georgia and I attended the University of Georgia School of Law. We have three children and two beautiful granddaughters. We are from Georgia but have been vacationing at Amelia Island since 1971. By far, the beach is much better than any beach in Georgia. We love spending time relaxing on the beach with our children, grandchildren, friends and extended family.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home because of the quiet neighborhood and close proximity to the beach. It was a great investment and second home. Both of my wife's sisters own homes in the neighborhood along with two close friends from my wife's hometown.

What makes this property unique

The private pool in the backyard is truly unique as it is the only home in the neighborhood with a private pool. It is also directly across from the community pool. We love grilling in back out by the pool while everyone is swimming.
