Quaint Home Away From Home
Welcome to our quaint home away from home! We offer a beautiful home that has been recently renovated. All check-ins are done contactless and strict cleaning protocols are completed between each guest. This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home is also equipped with a pull-out couch for additional sleeping areas. Our home is a perfect setup for a single family, or a group of friends wanting a weekend away!
The home is all one level which is ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The kitchen and living room have a large opening to keep the flow seamless. The living room has a pull-out queen bed, flat screen TV, and a gas fireplace.
Upon entry into the home, off to the left is a small desk area with a library of books for you to pick during your stay. Or have a family game night one evening with the board game options in this area. This work space is great for anyone who is unable to leave the office at home during their stay. The desk is placed near large front windows to really bring the outdoors in.
Walking through the living room you will enter a fully equipped kitchen with large amounts of counter space for all of your cooking needs. There is a small dining table upon entry to the kitchen with seating for 4, or a large outdoor patio table with seating for 6. The kitchen has a 4 burner range with convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge.
Off of the kitchen is one of the bathrooms. This bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower, and where you will find the full size washing machine and dryer for any laundry needs you may have.
Both bedrooms have quality queen size beds, nightstands, lamps and A/C units to keep you cool on the hot summer nights. All linens on beds are 100% cotton which are soft and breathable. The master bath is equipped with a deep tub and shower combo, toilet, and double sink vanity.
Through the back door off of the kitchen is our outdoor patio area. This area has a full-size stainless steel BBQ, large patio table with seating for 6, and a large grassed fully fenced backyard. Both front and backyards are full fenced, so no need to worry about your furry friend running around!
Our home has great amenities including air conditioning in bedrooms, parking for up to 2 vehicles at the back of house and additional parking on the street at front of house, fully fenced yard, Cable TV, and WI-FI.
Our home away from home has great outdoor options. Start your morning with coffee on the back patio. Or take a stroll across the back lane to the beautiful Kiwanis park! Kiwanis park has an expansive field for any of your sports needs. Right next to the large field is a wonderful public children’s playground for any family with busy kids! Our home is conveniently located a 4 minute walk from IGA, a 3 minute walk from Government Street Liquor Store, and a short 7 minute drive to Okanagan lake.
This single level vacation home can sleep 6 people very comfortably. We allow a maximum of six adults (older than 18) or a family of up to 6 persons. We can make some exceptions for the appropriate type of groups. It is great spot for up to 3 couples or a single family. We are not interested in renting to large groups of SINGLES, or groups under the age of 30.
If looking for a longer rental stay, please submit an inquiry. We are open to longer rentals over the winter months.
We may consider 1 non-shedding large dog or up to 2 non-shedding small dogs (exceptions can be made). We will NOT consider more than 2 dogs or any cats.
There are many Golf courses throughout the Okanagan valley. Cycling or walking the Kettle Valley Railway is a memorable experience. The Munson Mountain look-out is a beautiful walk to do, over looking Okanagan Lake. Interested in water sports? Tubing, kayaking, water skiing, seadooing are all part of the Okanagan Lake life. Floating down the River Channel between Okanagan Lake and Skaha Lake is a staple to do on your vacation and always a lot of fun. Don't forget to enjoy many fine restaurants in Penticton along with the many outdoor festivities like the Peach Festival. Every Saturday morning Penticton hosts one of the best Farmers markets in the Valley. The Farmers market is located along the 100 block of Main Street and runs from 8:30am to 1pm every Saturday. If you are feeling lucky the Cascades Casino is a short 6 minute drive or 20 minute walk.
