Very nice quite get-a-way. We were a week early for the opening of the nearby garden but were able to try the lettuce and cucumber which were both very good. Highly recommend if you want to get away to a quiet retreat.

Such an amazing experience. The cabin was cozy and perfect for our family. Perfect distance to many cities to visit and trails to hike. I recommend this property for anyone wanting to escape day-to-day “noise”.

Please if you have any breathing issues, stay elsewhere.The view was beautiful, the home was nicely situated, and had all the basic furnishings.The home smelled strongly of mildew or mold upon arrival. We had driven from Blue Ridge and there was no internet(as stated) so we decided to see if we could air out the smell. We could not use one of the doors, due to a recently displaced yellow jacket colony(spray was still on the outdoor walls and decking, this also made the front porch uninhabitable). By the time we left I was having difficulty breathing. I reached out to Scott letting him know we were leaving and requested a refund. He refused the request.The home listing is accurate in that it says there is no central AC, BUT the home was built with Central AC, it is just no longer working and the ducting and vents are still in the home covered with some paper type product. This was proved in that the rubber seal around the refrigerator door was covered in mildew.

We were in the home prior to arrival and again after the guest left. There is no mold smell whatsoever as there is no mold. In over a decade of renting no one has ever mentioned any unpleasant odor. The guest did not contact us except by text message late at night after we went to sleep. She had been given two cell numbers to use which work just fine without internet. We replied first thing in the morning but she had already left. We did find a wasp nest just prior to arrival and treated it. It was treated again the next day and the area was cleaned again just as it would have been if the guest stayed. Nature is beyond our control but we were addressing the issue. The guest came in late, cooked a meal, created laundry, and left without speaking to either of us, then demanded a refund. We take excellent care of our home and our guests and consistently receive positive feedback. If there was truly an issue we would have happily taken care of it or issued a refund but we were not given that opportunity.

Another great stay at the cabin

This is the 4th time we've stayed in the cabin and we continue to enjoy it. We love the peaceful setting while being a short drive back to Robbinsville.

Beautiful, comfortable and quiet

Great trip with the family, awesome produce easy access to a lot of different trails but you can just enjoy yourself hanging out at the cabin.

Another excellent stay at Stony Hollow Farm

We love staying here when we're in the area. The house is great, and Scott is a wonderful and accommodating host. The setting is very picturesque and the bubbling creek is relaxing. Highly recommended!

Beautiful place and location

Reserved this beautiful place with two friends and could not be any happier about our decision. A beautiful place, a beautiful location, and wonderful hospitality. As an additional bonus, fresh garden vegetables for purchase. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Beautiful setting

We loved our stay, The cabin was clean; well equipped. The setting was drop dead gorgeous. I want to stay there in the Fall. Owners were very accessible and friendly and their working farm with fresh flowers at the cabin were a welcoming touch. Would definitely stay again.

Stoney Hollow Cabin

Very peaceful getaway ! Loved sitting on the porch listening to the creek ! Scott and Stephanie were wonderful host. The cabin was warm and cozy with a nice wood burning stove. The house was well stocked. We really enjoyed our stay.

4th Of July getaway

Very quiet and peaceful only drawback is no cell phone reception or landline. Would recommend to anyone wanting some peace and quiet.

Girlfriend Weekend
