Our Stay

The property is located generally in a quiet area so need to drive to see different locations if you are sight-seeing. Beautiful countryside around and much seen from the balcony. Loved it!Richard.

Scenic Monticchiello

Lovely stay at Villa Poliflora in our favor part of Italy. The apartment was just as listed; clean, comfortable, well furnished with peaceful views. Our wonderful hosts left a great cake & brought us wine, so nice.

Superb apartment with a lovely view

This beautiful apartment had everything you could possibly need. Futura the owner is really helpful and friendly. There are several very good restaurants in the pretty medieval village serving local produce. It is an ideal place to explore the area.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

We could not have asked for a nicer place to stay. The apartment was fully equipped and had everything we needed. Futura and her parents were responsive and provided information on things to do in the area. Daytrips from the residence to Siena, Orvieto and Assis were within about an hour's drive making it very convenient for a stay in this area. The pictures of the apartment on the website were exactly reflective of the apartment. The view from the patio was amazing and very peaceful. It was wonderful.

Views & Comfort in the Tuscan countryside

We very much enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Monticchiello. The apartment was exactly as pictured on the vrbo website. The apartment was very comfortable, well-equipped, everything worked, and the views were beautiful. It was just a short walk into the town of Monticchiello, and one can easily drive from here to the surrounding countryside and nearby hill towns. We were greeted by Poli who showed us around the apartment, and welcomed with a delicious torte (I assume baked by Flora) and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Futura was always available via messaging to answer our questions. We highly recommend staying at this apartment.

Villa PoliFlora Panorama is Magnificent!

We were so fortunate to stay four nights in this spacious, comfortable, spotless, quiet, and very well-appointed apartment. Perfectly equipped kitchen, hot shower, comfy bed, fast wi-fi, and cozy pellet stove in the large living room. All the amenities plus a delicious torta and fresh fruit to welcome us. Wonderful attention to detail, and it was easy to be in touch with our host for questions and suggestions. It was tempting to just sit on the terrace and absorb the stunningly beautiful Tuscan landscape, and we did a lot of that, but within an hours’ drive in any direction there are several hilltop towns to explore. Of these, we think the village of Monticchiello is the most beautiful! Don’t miss dining at Daria and La Porta restaurants while here. Our entire stay was truly sublime. Many thanks to Futura, our very knowledgeable and helpful host. We will hope to return!

Eine Woche Anfang November

Nach dem freundlichen Empfang durch den Gastgeber Poli überraschte uns in der Wohnung ein köstlicher Kuchen und eine reichlich gefüllte Schale mit Obst. In der Wohnung war alles vorhanden, um es sich nach einem Ausflugstag imSpätherbst gemütlich zu machen. Poli und Flora sind perfekte Gastgeber!

Flora is a nurse and collector of succulents. The greenhouse adjacent to the Villa has more than 300 specimens.
Futura, the only daughter who lives in Siena with her partner Alessandro and daughter Gaia, has a degree in foreign languages and deals with the management of reservations.
