A little refresh would go a long ways. Weeds should be trimmed. Kitchen light was broke and flickering. Ceiling fan, box fan and keurig coffee pot did not work at all. The seting was beautiful and the overall experience was very good.

This was exactly what we were looking for! The size was perfect and the views were amazing. Very rural but a nice community feel to the cabins, really enjoyed just walking outside at dusk, lake views on one side and mountain views on the other. Was also a binder with very clear instructions on check out expectations. Literally the ONLY thing I can think of that was a (very minor) hiccup was a request to start towels, etc in the washer when we were checking out that was mentioned in the binder, but we realized there was no clothes soap in the container. However, I would say that would be an oversight or miss by the cleaners and not the property owner and it was a request in the binder, not a "have to" listed. Would stay here again.

I would recommend the left side for views of lake and mountains/foothills. Kitchen is well equipped and beds very comfortable. Internet was slow, but that wasn’t why we came. About 20-25 minutes from West Yellowstone. Gas grill was easy to use.

Overall, we had a decent stay at this property. The location worked well for our Yellowstone trip, and the host was very responsive and pleasant to work with.That said, we tend to prefer accommodations that are a little more updated and cleaner than what we experienced here. When we arrived, the fan provided for the main bedroom wasn’t working, and the ceiling fan/light in the living room wobbled so badly that we didn’t feel comfortable using it.On our second day, we also discovered there was only one roll of toilet paper provided for our stay, with no extras in the unit. Traveling with my wife and our three daughters, that wasn’t enough. I reached out to the host, and he promptly brought over additional toilet paper and a replacement fan, which we appreciated.The host was friendly and quick to address our concerns. In our opinion, this property would benefit from a little TLC and some routine maintenance. With a few updates and better attention to small details, it could be a much better place to stay.

Perfect location

This was the perfect spot to stay to visit Yellowstone. The views of the mountains and the lake were so wonderful! It was close to grocery stores and the National Park. I would stay here again!

Cozy clean and comfortable

The cabin was a little small but fit our small group perfectly. It was cozy, clean and comfortable. The location was great for activities we had planned in Yellowstone and Island Park. Getting in and out was hassle-free. We'd definitely stay there again!

This was a very nice home that was not too far from the YNP entrance. If you prefer to stay a bit farther from the hustle and bustle of West Yellowstone, I would definitely consider this place. It was clean and cozy, and we looked forward to coming back here every evening after a long day in the park. We had all that we needed, and the view was very pretty too! Very easy check in too.

Great family vacation

My daughter's and grandchildren and I truly enjoyed our stay at Island Park. The accommodations were great we had little need for assistance from the property manager but communication up until we got there was excellent. Check-in process is smooth and the house was wonderful.

The house was very clean and contained all of the kitchen items we needed. Our location was perfect as we visited Yellowstone and Jackson Hole. Wonderful views, especially with the full moon. Upon arrival we found kitchen counter had to be washed to clean. Several spoons had edges that looked like garbage disposal had chews edges and were sharp. Left them out to be replaced. Had one kitchen towel for 4 days. Ceiling fan in living room had light out and wobbles so bad it makes watching TV hard as light moves all over wall. Several bulbs burnt out throughout and stair night light bulb burnt out. Have to figure out how to turn stair lights switches to turn off and on to control for upstairs bed room. Second bedroom upstairs ceiling light doesn’t work or is burnt out. TV has no instructions and very hard to figure out. Rules say to clean dryer screen out after each use. Found plugged on arrival. Picture attached. No Kleenex on site. First floor bedroom overhead light has bulb burnt out and fixture all out of shape. Strict instructions on no smoking on property. Opened grill that is in grass outside had half smoked cigar in grille where you cook. This rental is very dark day and night on inside. Needs some updating throughout as well used. We have stayed in many VRBO’s over past 10 years and this one missed mark by far. Would not recommend to stay there.

Central location and exactly what we needed.

We tackled Yellowstone, fly fishing, and Grand Teton, all from our home base in Island Park. This property has everything you need and nothing you don't, and it exceeded all our expectations. Excellent communication and easy check-in. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Location

The views from the cabin are stunning. It was so nice to wake every morning and look out at the lake and the mountains. The cabin was well maintained and very clean. It was an easy drive to West Yellowstone. I would definitely recommend the cabin to my family and friends !
