About the host

Host profile image
Mari-anne grew up in the Charleston area but moved around the Southeast while raising children but the Lowcountry was always home. David is from away, Detroit, but happily moved back to the Charleston area with Mari-anne and settled on Summerville.
They both love hiking, boating, fishing, shrimping, bird watching and more recently Pickball!

Why they chose this property

We purchased our home because of the many Live Oaks and the park like setting. We enjoy listening to the birds waking in the morning and watching the sun set through the live oaks branches.

What makes this property unique

Our home and cottage has a country feel but we are in a thriving town with all the amenities a few minutes drive away.
