Harmony Garden @ The Thakkar Family Ranch

Summary:

Come relax at “Harmony Garden” at Texoma Resorts!

This newly built cabin in 2019 includes: two bedrooms, two full baths, laundry room, oversize covered patio and sleeps up to six guests. Pets are welcome at a $25 per night.



Cabin is located on our resort located near our event area and clubhouse! Some spaces are shared. No events will take place at the tent venue when the cabin is rented. The clubhouse books separate and can be booked by other guests. Contact us for clubhouse availability.

4th of July weekend

Overall it has great potential. There was mouse droppings and several quick sightings of the mouse, the management did a great job of responding and handling the situation. Good location, great area, beds are not the best but worked for the quick weekend stay.

This is in a great location to Eisenhower State Park boat ramp with easy access to get into the lake. Owner was responsive when we had an issue.

What a great little cabin!

The cabin was the perfect way to “glamp” while our family stayed in their campers at the state park. We had everything we needed at the cabin. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking utensils and the showers were nice and hot. The washer and dryer allowed me to come home with a suitcase full of clean clothes and we were less than a minute from the front entrance of the state park. Also, the management was responsive to a ceiling fan repair we requested and had it fixed within an hour.

The setting and tranquility were perfect. The inside was pleasant as well other than the beds in the spare room. The beds are perfect for kids but my aging bones did not fair well on the very thin mattress. But that was the only downside of the stay. Other than that it was great.

Not what we expected

The cleanliness of the cabin was great. Outside was complete trash and nothing like the photos. Deck holes that have rotted covered with wood. Empty boxes and trash everywhere. Beds were uncomfortable. Doorknob ready to fall off the main bedroom outside door. Doors to bedrooms do not shut completely. The blind in the main bedroom doesn’t cover the window. We were reimbursed for our second night because we did not stay. We were disappointed in the difference between what was advertised and what was offered.

Thank you for your review. The items you listed had we known about it during your stay we would have assisted. As we mentioned upon your booking the rest of the property is under renovation and the only area accessible would be the cabin. We did find a damaged blind and since replaced it. We did offer a refund for the second night as a courtesy as you stated your elderly mother couldn’t sleep in one of the beds. The photos online depicts how the property looks including furniture. We are sorry your expectations were not met.

Place was really nice but

The place was very nice and clean but said the TV was a smart tv no it wasn’t and no dvd or anything to watch. Contacted people first day and told them about it and never heard from them not once. The beds they have in the back are not something I would want to sleep on again I assure u they were just the two inch soft mats. It has a big gate to get in off the road only one side would open barley could get the boat we brought in and park because of it but overall the house was nice and clean
