The pool and beach were great. The condo showed a little wear and tear outside on the patio. And there were little things like no batteries in the TV remotes and no extra trash bags which were inconvenient. Believe it or not the condo had even more decorations than showed in the listing photos. The staff at the front desk was upper nice and when we were airing up our tires before we left a worker on his way to his car asked if we needed any help which was very nice.

Mixed thoughts

We come down 2-3 times a year and always stay at Sonoran Sea. Love the property. My only issue is with management company that NEVER responds to questions. It is very frustrating.

Wrong age requirement on Vrbo listing

When checking in I was told I could not check in if I was under 25 when the Vrbo listing clearly had the age requirement at 21. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the person I was speaking to said he was the supervisor. I then asked to file a formal complaint. He proceeded to provide me with a recommendation note card that he then expected me to give to him.

The condo and the setting are wonderful. The front desk staff were very unfriendly.

Over all I would return and we also recommend to others. Beware the front desk staff.

Sonoran Sea

The property was very nice. The condo was by the elevator so it was a bit noisy in the mornings. Also Banditos and Changos had loud music playing into the late evenings. We would stay there again but pick a condo in the other building.

Our stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was decorated beautifully. The only minor things were there were no working locks in any room or bathroom for any sort of privacy. They were all broken. We also had to use a bag because the trash can was broken. It does not open. I brought these issues up when we checked in. Didn’t seem like the guys in the desk really cared. They did nothing about it. I had to ask for trash bags and the them to the door knob. Other then those minor things, we enjoyed our stay. Those weren’t big issues. The decor really made the room comforting.

Rocky Point for fall break

We had a blast staying here at Steve’s property. The condo was very clean and comfortable and the views couldn’t be beat. It suited our family of 3 perfectly for our quick haunt to the ocean before winter sets in!
