The home is beautiful. The hosts are responsive. The golf cart was a nice feature. I would have been happier if the home supplied coffee pods for at least your first morning. Also, though a nice packaged 'look' for the soap/shampoo etc, not a lot for a house full of people. One real size shampoo/conditioner and soap per bathroom would be ideal. Also, considering the proximity to the beach, it was a bummer to not include any beach gear - umbrella, chair, minimal toys (shovel, etc).

Great house in an amazing location down off of 30A. The few issues we had at the house were quickly resolved by the PM company. Great community, wonderful vacation spot.

Fantastic home & great location

Last minute getaway

The house was great with plenty of room for everyone. Every room had its own full bathroom and 3 of the 4 bedrooms have king beds. The golf cart was much appreciated for easy pool and beach access.

Tired moms getaway

My friends and I had a wonderful stay. The property was really nice. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch for coffee in the mornings. The golf cart makes it so easy to get to and from the beach. The only thing missing would be some extra blankets but other than that it was great. We hope to stay again next year.

Cool Christmas

Everything was as described with this lovely home. It was very comfortable for our family of 12. The bunk room was fun for the kids but probably not comfortable enough for adults. It was too cool to use the porch so we were a little tight in the small den when watching a movie. It was nice having the golf cart but we couldn’t make full use of it on this trip due to the weather. The Hub and local shopping were enjoyable. Our Christmas Eve service at the Chapel at Seaside was a true highlight! We look forward to a return trip to this area in the future.

The house was new and nicely appointed. The community pool was beautiful and nearby but was not clean at all. (Was told that it was an HOA issue, not a property mgr issue.) The golf cart was great (a necessity) to get to the beach. Cleanliness of house was ok - cleaners were sent back out to clean grill (Which was moldy) and fridge (which smelled like rotten fish from previous renters).Other than the three issues with cleanliness, the house was great and very comfortable. We loved the screened in porch as well!

Fabulous place to stay

We had a total of six adults and two small children. We loved that there was a king bed for all three couples with their own bathroom. That fourth bedroom had two queen beds with its own bathroom which was perfect for the small children. We did not use the bunk bed for the kids as it was open to the kitchen area. The kitchen was fully stocked. I guess someone had taken the wine bottle opener because we had to buy one. The golf cart was super nice to transport us to the beach. The only downside I would say was the amount of steps down to the beach, we carried a tent, chairs, and coolers. So glad we had young strong guys to carry the heavy things. Our contact from panhandle getaways was very very responsive. Not sure if they ever sleep. Debbie S.

Nice Beach House

We had a great time and the house fit our entire family/extended family however important to note that the listing states there are beach chairs/umbrellas and there were none. The property manager stated their listing didn’t show that however the vrbo app listing does. Our access codes were incorrect and were unable to check in at check in time. Also important to note that while you do have access to the private beach (gate/code was broken) if you want to set up chairs and umbrellas you have to walk to the public beach area and set up. The house had no manual with map for where the pool was located or beach access route so you kind of had to figure it out or call and ask.

Do not rent through Panhandle Getaways

We go to check in at 4:00 & were met with someone from housekeeping that told us the cleaning ladies had to come back out to clean the floors. I quickly looked over the house & didn’t see anything else that needed attention at the time. So we leave to go to the beach so the cleaning crew could come back to clean floors. Around 10 pm we go to shower & get ready for bed. 5 beds were covered with head hair & what looked like pubic hair. One bed upstairs looked like the sheets had not even been cleaned at all. I stripped 3 king beds & 2 queen beds & washed 2 sets of sheets before someone from Panhandle Getaways returned my phone call. While I’m waiting on clean sheets to be delivered, my kids go to bathe & there is hair in bath tubs & a used bar of dried up soap that looked like it had been there for a while. A maintenance guy finally dropped off 5 clean sets of sheets in my arms, so I was putting clean sheets on 5 beds until after midnight our first night there. I sent pictures & videos of every bed & dirty bath tub to multiple people & they never seemed to get to the right person. House keeping told me their cleaning crew was the “best” & they had new people working with them. She also made the excuse that all sheets are washed together in a big machine & hair just gets stuck to everything. Excuse after excuse. On my last day management told me my story & house keeping story didn’t match. Weird. Because pictures & videos with times don’t lie. On the day of our departure I was told they had to look into things & investigate & I would get a call soon. I called multiple times emailed multiple times & each time no response. On day 11 I was told in a text message by someone that was not upper management I will be refunded the cleaning fee. This is not only unprofessional, but unacceptable when I’m paying almost $900/night. I’ve yet to speak to anyone in management with Panhandle Getaways. Giving this 1 star is giving a lot of credit. I would have given 0 stars if it were an option.

we stayed here mid august 2021 and it was absolutely beautiful!! i had no complaints and the property manager was very easy to communicate with! house had everything we needed and more and the inclosed back porch was absolutely beautiful!!! golf cart was amazing and helped with the short walk to the beach. 10/10 will definitely stay again

Rest and relaxation vacation

The house was perfect for us since there are four couples who were all happy find three king size bedrooms and one with two queens. The littles slept on the extra queen. The bunk beds were great for our four grandsons. We spent a lot of our time on the comfortable, screened-in back porch. We utilized the golf cart to get back and forth to the beach and enjoyed using beach chairs and toys already there. We even left some of our toys and boogie boards for next year. We cooked every night and found everything we needed in the kitchen. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been bikes. The choice to return to this house next was unanimous!

Decorated nicely, but dirty

The home is new and in great condition overall, while there were three maintenance problems that we saw, including the charger for the cart is damaged and would not charge the cart properly, the garbage disposal was jammed (I would've repaired it, but there was no tool), and the blind in the lower master bath would not go down all the way (we had to place the garbage can, and a roll of toilet paper in the window to keep the neighbors from watching us shower). Overall, on first glance, the place seemed clean, the beds were made and nothing was in the dish washer, BUT... between the sheets in two of the rooms, we found dark thick hair, as well as a dead mayfly between the sheets in the master bedroom downstairs. We slept on top of the covers the first night (like you do when you stay at a shady motel). The next day, I spent the entire day cleaning, including washing all of the bedding. Additionally, the flatware was put away with food stuck to it. Therefore, we felt we had to wash thoroughly every pan, dish, fork, spoon, and cup we used before we used them. I did that the same day that I washed all of the linens. Additionally, I bought a bunch of meat with the intention of grilling it. I planned to do this the first night. Unfortunately, the really nice and spacious grill was disgusting. Grease dripping out of the trap and everything. Therefore, we had pizza the first night. The same day, I was washing sheets we haven't yet used and dishes we haven't yet eaten on, I spent about 2 hours cleaning the grill (after buying a tool to clean it). In the pictures, the house and the pool look much larger than they actually are. My adult children joked that we were "catfished" a little. While everything decorated as nicely as the pictures, the actual living space is pretty tight in the living room and on the patio. We had 9 adults and it was tight in the living areas. The kitchen was nice and large, but the counter is practically unusable. The neighborhood pool was much, much smaller than it appears in the picture. Overall, because I was with my wife and family, I had a nice time and the house is very nice (with very thin walls), but I lost an entire day due to cleaning (which I was charged for somebody else to do) and it was tighter than the pictures let on. Therefore, I feel like I got robbed a bit by wasting an entire day cleaning.

House

The backyard of the house was messy grill cover laying on ground and small trash. Inside of house really nice. Great access to the beach. Loved the golf cart but couldn’t find keys when we first got here.

Great house!

I have been renting in Magnolia Cottages for years. First time I have rented in the back/new section. Loved the house! The new pool is awesome and pretty with a zero entry. Golf cart was needed to get to the beach easily. Loved the porch and kitchen. Had a few issues upon arrival that were quickly handled by panhandle rentals.

Nice New House in Quiet Area

Brand new place that was overall thoughtfully designed and furnished. Great place for larger families with older kids. Brand new pool is a block away, and the included golf cart is invaluable for trips to the beach. Only thing we didn't love is that the bunk room isn't ideal for families with smaller kids, as it is adjacent to the kitchen/living room and doesn't have a full height wall or door to separate from the kitchen. As a result, if you have little ones you can't put them to bed and stay up in the common area.
