Let your adventure begin!
This five bedroom, 2 bath, spacious split-level house offers private lakeshore and multiple outdoor patio spaces to gather. There is so much to do! The dock is surrounded by a sandy bottom swim area. We provide kayaks and a lily pad at no extra charge. You can tie your boat or pontoon to the dock or rent our pontoon. We have a fish cleaning table to clean your catch of the day. The bonfire pit is on the shore near the water and we provide the firewood.

This comfortable home has 6 queen beds, twin bunk beds and two large bathrooms. Enjoy the beautiful lake views or relax in one of the two living rooms. Have some fun playing air hockey or foosball in the game area. There's plenty of space for your whole group to spread out and have fun.

Enjoy outdoor cooking, a full kitchen, and indoor or outdoor dining. You'll love cooking in our spacious kitchen where you'll have everything you need: newer full-size appliances (fridge with ice maker, convection oven, dishwasher), cooking essentials (pots, pans, cutting boards, knives, crockpots), coffee maker (both regular and Keurig), toaster, blender, dining ware (dishes, glassware, containers, bowls, mugs, silverware), and pantry basics (salt, pepper, oil, paper towels, starter spices, dish soap).

There is a second fridge/freezer downstairs. The washer and dryer in the laundry room are free to use. Laundry baskets and a starter pack of laundry detergent and stain remover is provided. Perfect for longer stays, families, or anyone who wants to pack light.

Everything is here to make your stay comfortable and convenient.

Lake Brophy is a quiet, 289 acre lake perfect for fishing, skiing, tubing, and swimming. Take a boat ride around the island or head to the nearby Brophy Park. The park has direct access to the Central Lakes Trail as well as a sandy beach and space to play. The cabin is located just over 2 miles from Alexandria where you will find shopping, restaurants, theaters, and many fun daytime activities.

Staying during the winter? Lake Brophy is great for ice fishing, snow shoeing, and cross country skiing. The property is only 15 miles from Andes Tower Hills skiing and tubing area.

We had such a GRREAT time!! Couldn't have been any better, kitchen very well stocked, beds were very comfortable and smelled so good, plenty of things to do, grandkids loved the kayaks, lily pad, paddle boat and game room. Can't say enough about how great this place was!!

Awesome stay!

Our family (ages 3-87) had a great time on Lake Brophy. The house had plenty of space for everyone, toys for the littles, and easy access to the dock for the fisherman. We loved it and had a great time!

House was spacious, clean and well supplied with every thing you could ask for. we had a great time. My son and his 7 year old daughter caught some nice size bass and a catfish off the dock, as well as lots of panfish. Only drawback was the weedy shoreline and and long staircase down to the dock. It was well worth the price and our best lake rental to date.

Family Stay

Aside from a horrible storm the night we arrived, the stay was great. This was our second year here and Sarah is always easy to work with and accomodating. The house works well for a large family.

Beautiful Lake Views

The house and grounds were well kept, and had everything we needed for a fun visit. Very convenient location. Plenty of outdoor seating with lake views. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Girls weekend!

Great spot for a girls weekend! Clean and spacious, with plenty of space to lounge both inside and outside. We loved kayaking on the lake in late fall. Only downside was the water pressure was a little low. Otherwise we had a great time!

Nice stay during hot summer week

This property is “as advertised” and we enjoyed our stay. Nice, quiet lake. Fun swimming in the middle and at the beach down the road. Also an incredible playground near the beach if you have younger kids. Fishing is very good as well. Owners were great and have it set up well for their guests, including several kayaks to use and firewood stocked.

Family vacation

Overall. The family had a very enjoyable time. The upstairs deck was great for the little ones with no way off except through house made it much easier to keep track of them and plenty of room to play when not on the lake.

We had a lot of fun at your home, plenty of room for our large family and the kids enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. I liked the long driveway for our extra vehicles and it was nice to have space to park the truck and boat. Everything you could possibly need was available. We would definitely stay here again. Fun girls’ weekend!

Sarah and Jason were fantastic hosts! The beds were cozy and the property was lovely. Super responsive owners. We had 8 adult women and everyone had a blast. No Uber or Lyft in town but we were lucky to find Alec Courier for our ride to dinner and back. Highly recommend this home!

A lot of space for family to enjoy outside and inside!

House is very spacious, clean and comfortable. Views are beautiful. We were able to rent their pontoon and our group of 9 were able to be together all at once. (3 children). The deck is huge and has railing all around so little ones can wander off. Also the garage is a "game room" and one evening it rained and we didn't care if we couldn't have a bonfire that night as the game are was so fun! Would love to stay again! Thank youQ

Great times!

Had a great time at this home. We met the owners when they were moving garbage containers to the road. Honestly we could have done that, however, the owners have it in the booklet about the property they will take care of moving them to the road. They fixed a minor problem with one of the tv's while they were there. Seemed like very nice people but we never saw them again during our stay.

Relaxing Vacation on Lake Brophy

We had a wonderful vacation. The 5 bedrooms, upstairs living room and downstairs family room provided so much space for our family. There were yard games outside and plenty of movies and games inside. We loved all of the outdoor seating options too. We took advantage of eating out on the rooftop deck in the evenings, relaxing in the backyard on the zero gravity chairs and sitting down by the bonfire at the lake. The sunrises are beautiful here. Sarah and Jason provided everything we needed including firewood, charcoal and grilling supplies. They were also very responsive when we had questions. They even provided fresh organic eggs on our arrival. Having all of the kayaks for our use was wonderful. The kids loved fishing off the dock and catching sunfish. We would love to stay here again!

Amazing July 4th Lake Home Family Time

The home and property are very nice. Well kept. Nothing fancy- but very nice for a family get together over the 4th! Our group was large: four children and 6 adults. We had a blast! Brophy Lake is not large, but it is a super fun lake where you can swim, jetski and pontoon on! This property has everything you need! Large living room area, outdoor deck for eating! Lots of water equipment too! Kayaks, paddleboards, small pontoon if you want to rent it which we did. There is a very nice fire pit by the water too. We had 3 nights of S'mores and sitting around the fire pit! The owners have worked hard to think of everything you need as a vacationer! Thank you to Sarah and Jason! Our 5 nights were amazing memory making family time!

We both grew up in the Alexandria area and could not think of a better place to raise our 2 kids. There is something magical about the lakes area. We love the memories we made as kids at the lake and want to share that opportunity with others. We are a teacher and a business owner in Alexandria.

Why they chose this property

For years, we looked for the perfect lake place to enjoy with our family and friends. We wanted this property because of the private shoreline and back yard. We love the amount of outdoor and indoor space. We can have many guests without feeling crowded. We both fished on Lake Brophy our whole life and currently live a half mile from the property because we love this area. We wanted a cabin to create some great family memories. We want to give that same opportunity to others.
