About this property
Spectacular Lake Views; Walk to Village; Hot Tub, Foosball & Shuffleboard
With sweeping views of Big Bear Lake from every room, HOT TUB, two fireplaces, a gourmet kitchen, and a game room, Lazy Bear Lodge has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. This 5BR/3BA Lodge is two blocks from the Village; a five-minute drive to Snow Summit Ski Resort; and right next to the Pine Knot trail for biking and hiking. Relax in the hot tub after skiing; challenge friends to foosball and shuffleboard games; enjoy happy hour on the expansive two-level deck; or simply cuddle-up in front of the fireplace. Need to relax? Need to getaway? Lazy Bear Lodge has everything you're looking for!
Lazy Bear Lodge has FIVE big bedrooms and THREE full-size bathrooms, with two bedrooms and a full bath on the main floor, and three bedrooms and two full baths on the upper floor. You have unobstructed views of Big Bear Lake from almost every room. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and game room all flow together creating a large open living space.
This KITCHEN is truly gourmet, with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, new Kitchen Aid double oven, wine fridge, high-end appliances, gas-burner stovetop on the center island, and everything you need to prepare meals for a big group. The Kitchen will become a focal point for hanging out.
The DINING ROOM has a rustic solid wood table with seating for eight, a handmade antler chandelier, and an impressive view of Big Bear Lake right outside the window!
The DECKS - are huge and have unparalleled views of Big Bear Lake and the twinkling lights of the Village. Morning coffee is a must outside on the decks! The main-level deck has two large tables and chairs, seating easily 10 to 15 people. The Hot Springs Limelight hot tub sits on this deck, with views of the lake for all six people in the tub! Some of the main-level deck is covered, so you can enjoy it during almost any season. There's also a gas-burning grill for barbecuing.
The FAMILY ROOM has a big comfy couch in front of a giant wood-burning fireplace. Start a fire, sink into the couch, kick up your feet, and cuddle with your favorite person after skiing all day... relax and enjoy!
The GAME ROOM has a new, tournament-quality Warrior Foosball table, and a new solid oak, full-size, 12-foot Brunswick shuffleboard table. Plus, a large flat screen TV and couch for movies for those who aren't playing games. Speaking of games, the Lodge has all the classics -- Mastermind, Battle Ship, Chess, Clue, Monopoly, cards, and several puzzles.
Bedroom 1 - The first of the two main floor bedrooms has a queen-size bed with a huge closet, and a comfy, oversized leather chair. This bedroom is next to the main-floor bathroom.
Bedroom 2 - The second of the two main floor bedrooms is BIG and has a comfortable queen-size bed with a gorgeous hard-wood frame, matching nightstands, and dresser. This room also has a comfy leather chair, and a sliding door, which steps out onto the side deck with sweeping views of Big Bear Lake. Sip your morning coffee on the deck!
Bedroom 3 - is the Master Bedroom upstairs has a new queen size bed, flat-screen TV, a gas fireplace, and huge en suite bathroom. The master bath has a two-person Jacuzzi tub plus a separate walk-in shower with a relaxing rain shower head. The Master Bedroom also has its own private deck, with the best views in all of Big Bear!

Washer and Dryer are on the second level, and available for use.
The Garage fits two cars and is available for use, and is equipped with a high-speed, 50-amp electrical-vehicle charger. It will accommodate most EVs, including Teslas (but bring your Tesla adapter).

BIG BEAR 11% TAX - The City of Big Bear Lake requires vocational rental guests to pay an 11% occupancy and tourism tax. (I know!) All hosts in Big Bear Lake are required to pay these taxes to the City.
TRASH REMOVAL - Big Bear does not provide trash removal for vacation rentals. Therefore, you must remove all of your trash. This is true for all rentals in Big Bear. Renters are required to take their trash to the dump site.
Guests should bring their own personal care items such as shampoo, conditioner, and tooth paste. We provide toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, hand soap (Mrs. Meyer's!) and body wash, but please bring the rest of your toiletries.
We do not supply fire wood for the fireplace, but you can purchase wood at several nearby stores.

About the host
Hosted by Ryan Nilsen
My wife and I live in San Diego with our two daughters. Our family enjoys the cabin in Big Bear Lake, and hope you do to!
Why they chose this property
The cabin has the BEST views in all of Big Bear Lake -- views of the lake and mountains from nearly every room. Plus you can sit in the hot tub and see the lake. The cabin is walking distance from all the shops and restaurants in the Village too! Oh, did I mention the space? We loved that it has five bedrooms so that we can host large groups -- family Thanksgivings? Family reunions? You can do it all.
What makes this property unique
When the Village is bustling with people, and parking is near impossible, you can literally walk to the Village from our cabin. Shopping, happy hour, dinner are all within walking distance. No driving necessary! Plus, we have a new hot tub to relax and unwind at the end of your day.
