Chalet Céleste is located in the traditional and family-friendly village of Grand Bornand, in the heart of the Alps. It is situated at the end of a road offering a spectacular view of the valley. It combines modernity, ecological features, and respect for the authenticity of the surrounding alpine chalets, providing a true mountain experience. Chalet Céleste is perfect for family or friends' stays, whether in winter or in summer with a multitude of activities available in the area. The chalet is spacious, covering 250m2 across 3 levels, and can comfortably accommodate up to 15 people, including 11 adults and 4 children.
With its 5 spacious bedrooms, each featuring a balcony or terrace with panoramic views of the Alps. Each bedroom is equipped with excellent bedding, a 46-inch television, integrated storage, and a private bathroom. For your well-being, the chalet provides a relaxation area with a jacuzzi that can accommodate up to 6 people, a sauna for 4 people, and a shower. Additionally, a heated ski room allows for access to the ski slopes that are 200m away. On the top floor, you will discover a spacious living area consisting of a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge, and a dining area complemented by a suspended and rotating central fireplace. Enjoy the covered terrace furnished with a large table for up to 15 guests and a lounge area for outdoor relaxation. The Chalet Céleste also offers practical amenities such as 2 parking spaces in a covered and ground-level garage, as well as 4 outdoor parking spaces with direct access to the living area.

Amazing stay

We stayed for 2 weeks in the Chalet Celeste with family and friends. The chalet is perfectly equipped for 15 people and there is plenty of space for everyone. The Chalet is very calm and the owner is always helpful and available for any request. We strongly recommend if you want to spend an amazing time in Le Grand Bornand.

Wonderful time in le Grand Bo

We were a group of 11 (2 families and friends of the kids joined us). Chalet Celeste is a great place for skiing (close to the slopes), cooking (very good equiped kitchen) and chilling (everybody enjoyed the sauna and the jacuzzi). The onwners are very friendly, gave us good tips what to do in the neighboorhood and we had a good laugh together....and some great Genepi :-) Thanks Carole and James for the great welcome!

Great multi-family chalet with super hosts! Highly recommended…

We had a great time at Chalet Celeste. We were 3 families of four and it never felt crowded. The view is spectacular and the chalet is an easy drive (<10 mn) from the city center and is also close to trail heads. The chalet is spacious, very well equipped and very comfortable. Carole, James and family were very kind hosts who were always available to answer our questions or give us suggestions for hikes, food, activities, etc... James is a paragliding pilot: so ask him about tandem flights (or simply about flying in the area)… we had a great stay and would absolutely come back to chalet Celeste. Highly recommended.

Chalet très propre et très bien aménagé. Possibilité d’accéder directement aux pistes en faisant une courte traversée. Très belle vue, mais la hauteur donne quelques inconvénients en cas de grosses chutes de neige. Carole a été adorable - bienveillante et disponible mais discrète. C'est évident qu’elle prend le plaisir d’être hôte et de partager sa passion pour la région.

Het huis is erg compleet, zowel voor volwassenen als (kleine) kinderen. De sauna en de jacuzzi zijn erg fijn en de ruimte is afsluitbaar voor de kleine kinderen. Er is werkeliijk overal aan gedacht.

Un weekend mémorable au Chalet Célestr

Nous avions réservé le chalet pour notre weekend de mariage civile. Tout s'est parfaitement déroulé, la prise de contact avec Carole la propriétaire a été très chaleureuse. Le chalet est exceptionnel tant par son emplacement, sa vue et par ses épuipements. Tous nos convives ont été séduits par le confort, la qualité des matériaux, ou encore la décoration des lieux. Tout est prévu pour passer un séjours d'exeption, nous en garderons un merveilleux souvenir. Magnifique Chalet !!!

La chalet correspond vraiment aux photos. Ils est très très beau. L’espace de vie au premier étage est très agréable. La cuisine, l’espace repas et le salon permettent d’être tous ensemble et de partager de bon moments. La décoration est soignée et les chambres sont très agréables. Par contre, il faut aimer les matelas ferme. L’accueil de Carole est chaleureux et précis. Petit bémol : ski au pied…. quant il y a de la neige, sinon, ce n’est vraiment pas simple. La route pour descendre à la station n’est pas des plus évidente, route de montagne qui désert le hameau, ça casse le rythme quant il faut emmener les enfants aux cours de ski, compter 30 minutes aller-retour jusqu’au télécabine, le temps de trouver une place. Pour conclure, chalet magnifique, bien placé quand il y a de la neige, sinon, pas la meilleure option.

Nous sommes venus à 15 amis pour fêter les 30 ans de deux d'entre nous. Le chalet est exceptionnel, tout le confort y est réuni ( literie, salle de ski, chaque chambre à sa propre salle de bain, jacuzzi, sauna, vue incroyable, son dans tout le chalet ...). Carole, la propriétaire est très sympathique et est vraiment arrangeante sur les heures d'arrivée et départ. L'accueil était très agréable. Nous avons passé un super week-end end avec la neige et le soleil ! Une adresse à garder et recommander sans modération.

Magnifique chalet, spacieux, bien équipé et chaleureux.

Nous avons passé un week-end entre amis : 11 adultes et 1 bébé. Tout le monde a beaucoup apprécié le lieu : des chambres spacieuses et super bien équipées, un salon ultra confortable et chaleureux. Sans parler de la vue et du sauna/jaccuzzi qui ont fait le bonheur de tous. Nous avons pu nous balader et faire de la luge à proximité du chalet. Carole est très disponible et accueillante. Je recommande vivement.

Le chalet Celeste est une très belle propriété, de grande qualité. Très bonnes prestations. Les équipements sont nombreux et fonctionnent parfaitement. Le chalet est décoré avec goût. Le bien est conforme à la description de l'annonce. Quelle belle vue sur le village depuis le balcon! Carole est une très bonne hôte, disponible pour toute question. Nous étions 15, nous avons eu assez de places et tout était prêts pour nous accueillir. Le weekend fut très agréable. Je recommande vivement ce bien.

Chalet Celeste Summer 2019

This is a fabulous property in a stunning location with nearby very friendly and extremely helpful owners. This wooden chalet has stunning views of the valley, perched high up on the hillside above the village. The chalet is very spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard and we loved the jacuzzi. The area is great with lots to do, old alpine village (with good public swimming pool for kids) and lovely mountains. We had a brilliant family holiday and would love to return to chalet Celeste again.

Our chalet has been carefully planned designed by renown architect Daniel Masson to ensure your stay be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.
The construction has respected the most recent environmental and ecological regulations. The heating is guaranteed by geothermal technic, which uses heat of the earth 100m below which in turn provides unique warmth & comfort.
