Great place with a great view that was perfect for our family. Clear instructions on everything including the wood burning stove that we fired up the first night we were there. Deer come right up to the property. Great view of the cliff and surrounding are. Will go again for sure!

This was the perfect place to truly get away. I was able to disconnect and just enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. The deck was the perfect place to hang out and watch the animals and view the scenery. The cabin had everything needed for my stay. It was far enough to be secluded but close enough to go to town and enjoy what Chama had to offer. If returning to the area would definitely stay again!

The cabin was perfect for a low-key relaxing mountain weekend. Property was very comfortable and well stocked, particularly the kitchen, which made cooking easier and more enjoyable than some other places I've found. Will definitely visit again!

Cozy cabin

Great place to get away from the city. Host was responsive to questions and the cabin is cozy, clean and isolated enough to get quiet nights and do some amazing stargazing.

April Trip to Chama

The property was clean and well maintained. Ideal for two adults who want to get away. The kitchen is set up self catering all meals. Overall very pleasant location and a great cabin.

Wildlife galore

Got to watch deer, wild turkey, and birds all from the deck. Cozy wood burning stove kept us toasty during our stay. Gorgeous mountain views. Quiet area.

Exactly what we needed

This was just what we needed. Great location for hiking, seeing wildlife, fishing and so much more. The cabin had everything we needed. We loved Chama and the surrounding area. We will definitely be back.

A Pleasant Stay

This is a great location for a couple or small family. The cabin was well set up for our use. Four people could sleep comfortably here and the kitchen can handle feeding that many. There is a deck with beautiful views of the area and you have easy access to a number of activities around Chama. I have recommended the Jag cabin to friends, family, and co-workers.

Quiet & comfortable cabin in relaxing & beautiful setting

This was our first time staying at the Jag's cabin and it was awesome! Getting to and into the cabin was easy. It was perfect for our weekend stay - very quiet, great places to walk in the woods right out the door, close to Chama and great public lands. We loved sitting on the deck in the mornings and evenings, watching all the critters wander by, the cliffs during sunset, and the moonrise through the trees. It was fun to peruse the quite extensive local and New Mexico history books there. Thank you to the Jags for providing such a lovely spot for our stay!

Everything advertised and MORE!!

We were met by mule deer at the front door upon arrival like they were neighborhood pets. Amazing views of mountains around you. Very nice area with beautiful privately owner cabins and lodges scattered about. Not crowded at all and felt we were the only ones out there. Interior is clean and as advertised. Will definitely stay again!

Amazing Experience

I was looking for a quiet, clean and safe space to reflect and rejuvenate. I run into this listing and decided to book. My experience in the cabin was amazing. It was clean, well kept and quiet. Wildlife was abundant in the neighborhood, thus, for those who enjoy wildlife. Tim was an amazing host, he is professional, direct in communication and easy to work with. I will recommend this cabin!
