Built in 1925 the Cody House has the charm of an older home with the conveniences of modern living. Located in the heart of downtown Cody. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and many popular tourist attractions, including the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. This family friendly property is the perfect basecamp for your trip to the Yellowstone/Cody area.
Spacious kitchen, dining room and outdoor deck make it a perfect place to gather and entertain.
Owners Sophie and Troy live close by, and will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about the area.
Between the two us we have 40+ years of experience in the hospitality and guest service industry in the Yellowstone area. This was a lovely home for a girlfriends’ trip. We used this as our home base to explore Yellowstone. There were only three of us, but the home could easily accommodate up to ten people. Sophie was fantastic to work with, gave clear communication for check-in and check-out processes, as well as multiple recommendations for things to do in Cody. If we’re in the area again, we’ll be sure to stay here.

We loved staying at this home! It had plenty of room for our family and is so cute and unique! Lots of details and character. The backyard is perfect for relaxing and offers plenty of shade during the heat of the day. We would love to stay here again!

This was a very fun house for our group of six adults. The kitchen was well stocked and mattresses were really wonderful. We enjoyed the lawn games in the backyard and there were even deer that came daily to the front yard. We would definitely stay here again!

This home is a great location for experiencing downtown Cody since it is an easy two block walk to the downtown area. The home was clean and has the best stocked kitchen of any VRBO we have stayed at. The fenced in backyard was perfect for entertaining and grilling for a July 4th party. Communications with the owner was outstanding and she quickly responded to any questions we had. All and all a great stay.

Our stay in Cody was absolutely wonderful! We had eight members of our extended family staying for three nights, and this home was the perfect fit. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and spacious.The kitchen and dining area were especially roomy, so we enjoyed preparing and sharing our meals together instead of eating out.Sophie was an outstanding host. She was incredibly responsive and flexible, accommodating a few last-minute changes to our arrival time and group size with ease.We highly recommend staying here and would gladly book this home again!

This house felt like home away from home the moment we walked in. Very comfortable beds, new bedding, extremely well stocked. Bbq, smoker, slow cooker was very convenient for making home cooked meals and it's stocked with everything you would need, oils, spiced, sugars, syrups. We enjoyed morning coffee on the backyard deck and home cooked dinners. This home was very clean and perfect for larger families, living room sitting area was wonderful for enjoying movies and visiting with family. We liked the convenience being close to the downtown and shops. We did adventuring around Cody and always looked forward coming back to the house and sitting in the back yard visiting. Thank you Sophie for opening your home to us, our family really enjoyed our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Sophie's beautiful house in Cody. We lacked for nothing! The house was very clean and spacious with super comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was only a two block walk to the shopping and dining district, yet the house was private and quiet in the evenings. We would definitely stay again!

I am originally from Ipswich England, and my husband is from Lafayette Louisiana. We purchased our house when we first moved to Cody and lived in it for four years. At that time we were asked to manage a ranch between Cody and the Eastgate of Yellowstone National Park. Our job requires us to live on the ranch, but we are happy to have a home base in town during the school year for our kids. Especially when the weather is bad.

Our home was built in 1925 and is 100 years old. It has lots of unique character and charm.
