So cozy! Perfect location to everything. Loved how it was set back from other cabins. We saw so many deer at the back of the cabin. Will definitely be back. Bed slept like a dream.
Upon arrival the cabin was very clean. I enjoyed the large porch & of course the hot tub. This place is perfect for a couple. NOTE*** My only "complaint" would be that it's right next to the road which isn't necessarily advertised. You can't see the road due to a hill, but you can see headlights & hear the traffic when outside. Overall, 5 stars. The pros outweigh the one con.
Loved how close it was to main attractions. We loved the wrap around porch and hot tub. We visited end of April when everything was just turning bright green for spring, light showers in the afternoon/evenings- quiet and serene - loved every moment of it.
Perfect getaway spot, end of the road surrounded by trees. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. The cabin was the perfect size for us, very comfortable and relaxing in front of the indoor gas fireplace.
So impressed with the overall stay. The cabin was beautiful and cozy. Great place to stay just to wind down for the weekend. The only complaint I really have is the road getting to the cabin is a little rough. Glad we were in a truck. Host was courteous. I would stay here again and will if we get the chance
Norma was very attentive to us very kind on phone and messages. Loved the home very comfy. Would highly recommend ❤️
The road to the house needs some work very rough.
For the most part everything was accurate but the noise from the road was very disappointing! So loud & not peaceful...

We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We are sorry that the road noise was a disturbance for you. December is one of our busiest time of the year and Hochatown/ Broken Bow does get very busy with visitors with Christmas festivities!
The property was perfect.. Our only issue was the exorbitant amount of fees added to nightly rate… disheartening, but I suppose everyone has to get their cut. I (personally) would prefer to see overall nightly rate instead of a decent rate, only to discover your overall rate is actually 20% to 30% higher. But a very nice cabin nonetheless
Can I just say Hochatown is amazing?! There are tons to do and I wish we would’ve stayed longer. The property is absolutely beautiful. It’s secluded and private but you’re not really that far away from other cabins. Which I loved. The bed was very comfortable and they had big towels. Which is a HUGE plus. I even bought the same brand when I got home because they were that nice. We saw some of the cutest deer Saturday morning right off the back porch! The hot tub was very clean and relaxing. The owner really went the extra mile with the swan towels on the bed and decorative touches to the toiletries and hand towels. The only recommendation I would make is maybe some brighter lights above the sinks. They were a warm light so it was kind of hard to see when getting ready. But it didn’t bother us that much! The stay was phenomenal and we can’t wait to book again!

Creekside Chalet stay
ON arrival was unable to unlock the door with the code that I had printed off. Had to call the property manager and a new code had been sent that I had not seen. On entering the cabin tried to turn on gas fireplace, knob was broken, and part of the gas line was barely putting out flame. Again had to call property manager to get someone to fix it. I have to say that she got right on getting it fixed. Cobwebs behind headboard and popsicle wrappers behind nightstand when went to use plug. We arrived on Thursday and left on Sunday, there were 2 of us. We had 4 washcloths. How do you shower everyday and have clean cloths? No rugs in bathroom and floor is tile, was very cold. Could not get heater to warm bedroom or bathroom. Tried to cook something and had to go to store to purchase a pot. There was one medium size bowl. Knives were horrible. Outdoor fireplace wasn't drafting properly, smoke coming out the front. We were not impressed with this cabin, have stayed in another one last year and much more comfortable. Sofa is worn out, uncomfortable. Tv channels worthless. Would not stay in this cabin or recommend it again.

Sherry, we appreciate reviews on our cabins as we are constantly striving to improve our properties so we can provide our guests with the best possible experience. We frequently change door codes to provide security for our guests. This being said, we make sure to update our guests via email before they arrive with new codes and any other pertinent information.
Unfortunately, we were unaware of the stripped knob on the fireplace, however; once we were apprised of the situation we responded quickly and efficiently as you mentioned in your review. Our only regret is that you did not call us to mention other items… wash clothes, missing pot, bathroom mats, as these items have all been addressed since your stay but could have been taken care of as efficiently as the fireplace had you alerted.
After receiving your review, we were very concerned about the heater and the draft on the fireplace outside and had it checked out by our HVAC servicer immediately and everything checked out fine. In regard to the fireplace outside, during this wet time in the season, oftentimes the logs get wet or trap moisture which can make them smoke more than normal.
We’ve enjoyed many 5-Star reviews on this cabin so we were surprised to hear such a scathing review. We are truly sorry you found your stay to be a 2-Star experience but thank you for your input as we have adjusted all items you’ve brought to our attention to provide for a much more pleasurable experience for our future guests. I’m sure you too will have a better experience next time you book with us. .
We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon. It was so cozy. Wonderful location. Lots of privacy. Right on the creek just like it says. We had deer at our cabin almost everyday. I cannot say enough good about the cabin and host. One of the very best rentals I have had. Thank you so much!!! 5 stars!!
My friend and I decided to take a quick “momcation” for the weekend, and booked this cabin. It was super clean, in a great location, and had plenty of amenities. The hot tub was great, the shower was amazing, and the bed was super comfy. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone needing a place to relax. We loved our trip.
If your going to the lake or just out and about all day then coming back to the cabin shower and go to bed it’s great.
But if you want to sit around the fire or sit on the deck and read a book get ready for
the road noise from the logging trucks ( you are in a forest )
Beautiful cabin well stocked. The check in information did not have the correct keyless entry code but a simple phone call gave us what we needed to get in. Directions to the cabin were spot on. We enjoyed the stay.
This is the second time we have stayed in a cabin in the Broken Bow area. This cabin had the privacy we desired yet minutes away from all the activities in Hochatown. It was a very luxurious cabin with all the amenities you would desire for your stay. Extremely clean and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful
