Great Little Cottage

We had a wonderful time at the Kare Bear Cabin. Very quaint but with all the amenities. Loved watching apres ski movies by the fireplace. Perfect Christmas Getaway.

Cozy Stay Minutes from Skiing

We had a great ski weekend getaway at this surprisingly spacious cabin. It is located right off Garrett Highway and easy to get almost anywhere fast. We will be back.

Valentines/Winterfest

Kare Bear cabin was exactly what we needed for this weekend. I loved the cabin/mountain decor. Location is close to several great restaurants and activities like the movie theatre which was nice since we got a good snow while we were there and didn’t want to travel much on the roads. Owners have done a great job making it feel like home with cozy pillows and blankets and games and even a snowman making kit, great attention to detail.

Karebear cabin

Location was great, quiet away from things but close enlight if i can say. Enough space for everyone to have their own down time but living and kitchen was the center of our attention with our stay. Only suggestion poasible a heater for patio, the view was great but hard to enjoy with no hwat, but beautiful. great to

The house was VERY clean and in good shape. It's on a busier street than we realized, so it's not the super quiet in the woods feeling we were hoping for. But we were really in town for a specific purpose, so it wasn't a big deal for us. But if you are coming to enjoy the lake, this is probably not the place for you.

July 4th weekend

The location was convenient, and the cabin was well stocked with the essentials. The only downside was WiFi connection wasn’t working the first day. That was quickly resolved the next day when the old router was replaced with a new one.

Great family getaway

Great stay over the long Easter weekend. The place was awesome. Loved all the updates inside and the decor. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room. Kitchen was stocked so well. Plenty of linens. Loved the fire pit, grill and just overall feel of the place. We will be back. Only slight downside was the location as the property was very close to the road and at a sharp turn although you really didn’t hear the traffic much. Great location to access lots of trails, state parks, water and restaurants.

Very nice cabin

The process was easy. The cabin was mostly clean. Just minor areas here and there. It is well organized and everything you need is there. We had no problem. Plenty of signs telling you wants required.

Hi. The property was in excellent condition and was accurately described online before renting. A suggestion would be to send the list of items that should be brought once payment is made instead of after going through the entire rental agreement and providing authorization. Overall it was just ok to stay at. The pictures of the inside were accurate, but the cabin is located next to a busy road. You will struggle to get any peace and quiet. Sitting outside was hard to do as well due to a constant smell of sewage. Furthermore the lawn service showed up unannounced to maintain the property. There is a fire pit outside, but also not really usable due to a small of sewage the majority of the time. The check in process was also not the smoothest due to the management not answering my messages about the check in procedure and had to call them to receive my email about that process. Overall I will not be staying there again.

What a mess.

Upon leaving it came to my attention there was dried blood on my son’s pillow he was using all over his face. I called the host Taylor Made Deep Creek. I sent them a photo. My son has high anxiety especially around germs. He could contact blood borne issues like hepatitis or HIV and all they said was to give us one hundred dollar refund and blamed me for not noticing it sooner. I am not allowed to dispute the charge. For the emotional toll alone the refund should be more. We also called his PCP abt it and he may have to get a blood test for these diseases. This cabin was in the main road and the noise traffic was horrible and I did not sleep past 7 or 730 am due to the location
