All appliances including washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, all pots, pans, linens are provided. Security system, screened in patio, BBQ grill with separate area, carport, SMART TV & cable, WiFi. Central AC, walk-in room, game table/pub table for games and dining. Home is just right for 2 - 4 occupants. It is close to US Hwy 27, grocery stores and 1 1/2 miles from the town of murals, Lake Placid, FL. Rural area for those who don't mind a bit of the rustic, there are natural alarm clocks and a 2 minute drive to Lake Huntly boat dock/fishing pier. For those looking for a cook get-a-way at an affordable price, this cottage is for you. Why pay $110 or more per night for one hotel room when you can have a private, immaculate, well maintained home with a security system, Cable TV and Wifi for less. Happily married couple for over 40 years. Wife, Evelyn was born in Sebring and raised in Lake Placid. Hubby, Felix is from Puerto Rico. Successful careers as a Firefighter/paramedic and Vietnam era veteran and currently work as a medical supervisor for a plasma company. Spouse works for a company that provides services for individuals with developmental differences. The property is managed by Erika, a family member who takes care of the home and our guests.

I decided to buy this house for my wonderful spouse so that she can stay connected to her hometown. You are welcome to visit and we know you will enjoy the home as we do.

What makes this property unique

The home is very nice and the area is quiet except for the natural alarm clocks. It is very peaceful and the neighbors are friendly but not intrusive. It is the perfect get-a-way for those who don't mind a little rustic community. The screened-in patio is wonderful for coffee in the mornings and dinner in late afternoon.
