Luxury Rental W/Private Pool Steps from the Beach

Max's Beach Retreat is a large luxury vacation rental 1.5 blocks from the sparkling waters and white sands of Cherry Grove Beach in North Myrtle Beach. The house was completely updated spring 2023. All new furniture throughout. Amazing "Backyard Oasis" Large pool, spa and grill/bar with plenty of outdoor space. The house is very spacious containing 2,300 sq ft of living space, 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths with a private pool. There is a huge outdoor patio and 3 decks! It has an open, modern floor plan with an updated kitchen. The house has brand new furniture and premium mattresses as of 2020 and has been completely updated and painted. We have installed new showers in two of the bathrooms in the fall of 2019. We have Wi-Fi and Direct TV with new flat screen TVs in all of the bedrooms and living room. Downstairs there is a large lounging area as your make your way to the salt water pool and relaxing under the house patio. Max's Beach Retreat sleeps up to 10 with a large master suite with king bed, second master bedroom with king bed, a third bedroom with a queen bed, and a fourth bedroom with 2 queen beds. The master suite bath has a Jacuzzi tub as well as a shower. Max's is dog friendly (it would have to be, it is named after our little buddy Max!) so bring the furry ones too! The house features key less entry with washer and dryer on the 2nd floor. One and 1/2 blocks from the beach and within walking to many restaurants and stores. The home was built in 2007 and the house, pool and deck area were completely updated and remodeled in 2019. A great place to relax with over 2,000 sq feet of outdoor living space. The cleaning fee includes a full linen package, we also have 4 beach chairs for your group to use at the beach! If you are looking at dates more than 6 months in the future please reach out for a quote. If you book with us (which we hope you do) we send our short term rental agreement to your email address via docusign, and will email you access instructions a day or two before your stay.

Outstanding! We had the best vacation ever and the house was fantastic. Jamie and Marla were so helpful and responsive. We arrived just as a tropical storm was heading directly toward North Myrtle. Jamie ensured we knew what to expect, and gave us specific instructions, if needed. We had no issues with Jamie and Marla checking in the next morning. Beautiful week followed. Highly recommend!

Myrtle beach stay at Max’s Retreat

The overall experience at this rental property was amazing. When I needed to contact the property owner they were very fast on responding and helping out. The home was in a great location and had chairs and things for the beach as well as for the pool in the backyard. The home was in great condition and very homey feeling. Definitely will use this property again in the future.

Excellent Family Stay

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at this beach house over the week of the 4th of July. The house was very clean and had all that you could ask for. Two blocks from the beach and two blocks away from grocery store. Pet friendly and family friendly, great place to stay!

Humphreys 1st Family vacation

The property is exactly as listed and our adult family and dogs had a great time. It was a short walk to enjoy the beach. The pool was a great place for all of us to re-group at the end of the day. We would highly recommend this house for your stay.

Thank you for considering Max's Beach Retreat, it is owned by Marla and Jamie. We live in Myrtle Beach as of 12/2020. We moved from Alexandria VA (a plan which was in the works for the last few years) and are really excited to be close to Max's!. Marla is an innovation expert for a large tech company and Jamie is a sales executive for a publishing company. Marla was born and raised in sunny South Florida and Jamie is from the cold, winter grey Detroit area. We met in Florida, moved to the DC area in 2004 and now are in Myrtle Beach, we love it here and love Cherry Grove!
