Ski in-out Luxury Sun Peaks 3 bedroom Townhome (completed 2021)

Be one of the first people to stay in our near new Sun Peaks 3 bedroom Townhome finished for ski season 2021. We are in one of Sun Peaks newest development "Echo Landing". We have super easy ski in-out access to the Orient and Morrisey Chairlifts.

Enjoy the breathtaking views and sunsets of Mt Morrisey and Mt Todd whilst relaxing in the hot tub after a great days skiing. The lounge, dining and kitchen areas also have amazing mountain views, huge 13 foot ceilings, timber floors and a gas fireplace.

Our luxury townhome features a full designer kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, washer/dryer, large LCD television, gas fireplace, automated humidifier system, garage with internal access, and a large deck with panoramic views across the entire Sun Peaks resort.

Our Sun Peaks 3 bedroom townhome will make you feel instantly warm and comfortable with its luxury furnishings and fittings. It is 1393 sq.ft. and can sleep a maximum of 8 people. The dining room seats 8 people. Complimentary wireless internet. The sleeping configuration is a king bed in the master bedroom, 3 x twin beds in bedroom 2 and a twin over full in bedroom 3. Just a short walk to Village restaurants and shops, Year round recreational trails are literally at your doorstep. The Nordic Centre and trails are directly across the road. If you have children, the toboggan park is also directly across the road for hours of fun.

We are an Australian family with three young children, the location of our townhome, and Sun Peaks Resort itself, offers fantastic family skiing. We have very easy ski in-out access to the Morrisey and Orient Chairlifts via the East Village Way ski run adjacent to the our townhome development. Ski out can also be accessed by crossing the road and skiing to the Orient or Morrisey chairlift (and in good seasons also allows for clipping into skis from the garage!)
Furthermore, East Village Way is a beginner ski run for simple and safe access for the entire family and skiers of all levels.

Our stay was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, our host, David, made us feel welcome and was incredibly responsive to all of our inquiries. The townhome itself is brand new, boasting stunning views that enhanced our entire experience. Being able to ski in and out was a game changer, making our days on the slopes so much more convenient.After long days of skiing, the private hot tub was an absolute highlight. There’s nothing like soaking in warm water while taking in the beautiful mountain scenery. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the cooking utensils we needed, allowing us to prepare meals easily. Additionally, David has thoughtfully built a ski equipment room in the garage, complete with an awesome boot dryer. It's a real treat to put on warm, dry boots every morning!Overall, we couldn't be more satisfied with our stay. We give these townhomes full marks and want to extend our heartfelt thanks to David and his family for an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know!

What a great stay!

We had such a wonderful trip and stay in your condo in Sun Peaks. The condo was perfectly appointed, easy to find, ski-in ski-out and we had such a nice time! We loved the location, the hot tub and the access to the ski area and the village. My only suggestion would be garbage cans in the bathrooms and a larger garbage can under the kitchen sink.

Overall the property was nice. The ski in/out requires a short walk. The one negative was lack of space for putting on ski boots. The foyer area is small.

Great Location and Host

After a little confusion at check in, but David and his team jumped in to help us out. The location is great, less than a block walk to and from the ski hill. In the garage there were plenty of hooks to hang our gear after our day on the mountain. The hot tub had a beautiful view of the mountains and we really enjoyed the short drive to the village for dinner. We did have two cars with us, which we had to have one car parked at the overnight lot ($15/day and less than a 5 minute walk), but we made it work. We would definitely book here again.

This location was not ski in ski out. It was 300-350m walk to a ski run. The iron frame couch was not usable. So seating for 6 was not comfortable. Beds were excellent.

With respect to your comments about ski-in-out, and for reference for all our future guests, Sun Peaks had a terrible season this winter, and your stay was very late in March. there was no snow at the village level. In a normal winter, we are a family of 5, with 3 children under 8 years old, we ski from our garage door to the lifts in the morning, and ski back to our garage door in the afternoon. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee snow conditions early or late season.

Orient…Express

This unit was located in the next set of townhouses from our friends location where they’ve stayed for several years. We stayed there last year and it was ski in and ski out. This unit requires a 50M walk to access the hill to ski down to Orient or Morrisey. What we liked about this unit was the garage where we could store our skis and snowboards and the hot tub was legit. There are some quarks but it’s probably something communication by me could’ve solved. Good spacing, easy access and great location.

Premium Price Sub-par unit

I’ve stayed at 7 different units at Sun Peaks over the years with my family. I’ve had the chance to hang out in the units of my siblings who rent every year the same week I do. While the place was clean it was by far the least skier or family friendly unit I’ve seen. An excessive number of closets and pantries were locked and only for the owners use. No hooks on the walls to hand ski clothes. The garage didn’t even have a bench to sit on while you put your boots on. I don’t write reviews often but I wanted to put this one up so I remember to take this unit only if it’s absolutely the last one available.

We are very disappointed to have received your review, and are a little perplexed as to your comments and the 3-star review you have left. A little unfair sadly. We have 15 out of 17 5-star reviews for a reason. Our home is beautifully presented, it has incredible mountain views, is impeccably clean, and you can ski to and from the lifts from the garage door, which I would consider the ultimate in being skier and family friendly. We are very proud of how our home is presented and maintained. With regards to storage and hooks, we have a 6-boot heater in the garage, and the entire wall of the garage has hooks for clothes, helmets and gloves. It sufficiently caters for our family of 6 (to hang and dry all our gear). There are 2 cupboards that are locked for our storage (which is normal from our many years of ski travel), but every bedroom has a double door closet, and the kitchen has ample storage available. I am sorry you had such a bad experience.

Nice home with great view

100m short walk then glide down to Orient chair. Unobstructed view of Morrisey. For our family of six adults it was just the right size. A little far from the village but still only a pleasant 15 minute along the trail. We love skiing at Sun Peaks and properties like this will keep us coming back.
