The Bliss - entire home

Enjoy your stay in the Harrow Colchester area at our quiet place just off the main road in Colchester Village. (about 5 km from Harrow). We are close to the beach and park (1 block) , fruit stands, nature areas (John R Park, Point Pelee) , restaurants, wineries and all that Windsor Essex County has to offer. Just want to rest and relax? Visit near by towns? Whatever your agenda needs, hoping you'll book with us!

We have tried to gather a few pamphlets that might offer ideas for you to enjoy and these are found in the cabinet in the living room just off the kitchen. If there are special events happening in the area we are aware of when you are visiting we will try to let you know.

Please leave towels and bedding in the bath tub that needs to be cleaned. If it is a garbage day please leave it at the road otherwise put in the garbage pail.

Colchester Chill

Nicely appointed bungalow just perfect for a weekend getaway in an out of the way little town in southern ON. Beds were super comfy as well! Host was responsive and the BBQ was appreciated!! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We were grateful to have found The Bliss. It's a little hidden gem that offers all the comforts of home. Our stay was short and sweet but want to return for a longer stay to enjoy what Colchester has to offer. The owner was quick to respond and provide information to me. Wonderful spot for a girls's family outing.

"The Bliss" was very clean and inviting. Host very helpful . Home equipped with everything we needed. Short walk to Colchester Harbour which had beach and a great play area with splash pad. Nearby restaurant (The Wreck) had good food and very friendly.

Foodie tour of Wine Country

We had a wonderful stay in The Bliss. It’s well located in the heart of wine country, a quick walk to the beach (probably the nicest in the county), and so cute, clean and comfy! We hadn’t spent any time in the area in quite a few years, and we were thrilled with the wineries, the ag tourism, and especially the food! Colchester/Harrow have certainly kicked it up a notch. We’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic get-away for beach and wineries

We had a 3 day weekend get-away in late July. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Walking/biking distance to 3 great wineries; driving distance to 8 more. Beach is 2 blocks away. Would recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable experience with friends or family on the Northern shore of Lake Erie!

Perfect for a quick getaway

After 18 months of lockdowns etc., this was the best antidote for getting out of the house and have a break. The location was clean and well maintained and we certainly enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect Respite

Such a well cared for cottage. Enclosed porch. Back deck in the sunshine. Everything you could need in the kitchen. And a super comfy bed. It was all so easy right from the booking with Lari and Dennis. It is a pleasure to recommend this property highly.

Quiet village

The house was great and had everything we needed. Good groceries 10 minutes away and restaurants at nearby wineries and towns. We we pretty close to the water but a view would made a big difference. A nice relaxing stay.

Home away from home

This property had more then we expected! It was well decorated for the holiday season, it had a wonderful kitchenette to prepare all our own food, it had some nice shops in the area, and a quiet neighbourhood. We were very satisfied with the place we rented.

Very Charming

The Bliss is a well maintained, inviting cottage. It was very clean and made you feel welcomed and comfortable during our stay. The indoor live plants made it more homie, then the rental feeling. We enjoyed our stay, it was decorated to season. The Christmas feel was felt in all rooms. I truly loved my morning coffee in the south sitting room. The fireplace added the extra charm.
