The unacceptable rating level doesn't come close to appropriately speaking to our experience this last.
Put it this week, the owner's of this condo owe us and any other resident's of this loc a full refund.
Everything outside of the beach & weather was 100% unacceptable. From NO storage in the kitchen, to a broken toilet, unworking outlets, a broken ceiling fan, an ac that averages 80°, absolutely no pkg and being accosted each time we tried pkg (in our space).
The guest pkg spots as they are each and every year are hijacked by the other realty group. And for goodness sakes, an owner allowed to place a cone in their space along with a guest spot. Are you kidding me?
I remember back in the day that the renters were owners for that week; or perhaps $2000+ a week doesn't warrant an enjoyable experience.
Oh and did I make mention that entering the pool through the main staircase was a non option most afternoons between 1200-1700.
I've been coming to the WinSan since I was 7 yrs old and while I understand the owner's are a handful, at some level I expected the prejudice and priority treatment to end with the lack of a property mgr, apparently I was mistaken.
You should be ashamed of yourselves, from owner's to property mgmt co's. Perhaps multiple rooms at the Islander is our next stop-- at $379/wk for each room, we'll at least have solid accomodations w/o the worry of an entire complex prioritizing 1 family.
And as I've known the Maguire's (sp?) for ages, it takes Leadership to police behavior-- both agencies have failed in that endeavor or perhaps just prefer to bypass the rights of others.
Obviously, it was a terrible experience this year and since I do save every year to actually come here with my family each year I can tell you that the substandard living arrangements and poor treatment by mgmt & security coupled by behavior of owner's families requires some level of accountability. I await your follow up. -w
