Amazing location with a beautiful peaceful view of the Harbour. Excellent restaurants and shops a short walk away. Super close to an amazing beach, perfect for swimming, walking, and watching the sunset. The house was clean and cute, with all of the necessities and plenty of towels. Very well stocked kitchen and lovely sitting area. Some repairs and updates are needed, but that didn't affect our stay.

Everything was very good except for the deck which needs a lot of work. It's uneven, got two splinters in the group. Two sets of steps. Only one railing and it was wobbly. Down stairs bedroom had a ceiling fan, but couldn’t turn off the light so it was warm to sleep in.

The best feature of this property by far is the location, which is absolutely fantastic. Very easy walking distance to the beach, and close to the Gulfshore bike path, fishing docks and restaurants. It more than makes up for the short-comings in the house. The description of the house as suitable for 8 adults is a bit misleading. 6 adults can easily be accomodated, but the 4th bedroom is challenging. It is described as having 2 single beds, but these are not standard single size mattresses. Really, they are padded benches, measuring about 2 1/2 feet across, so only suitable for children. And they are on a separate level from the other bedrooms, so probably only suitable for older children. The kitchen table only has 5 chairs, and there were only 4 chairs in the living room, so finding a place for the group to sit together was challenging. There is a picnic table outside, but it is very wobbly, so in the end, we couldn't all sit together at meals. I don't mean for this review to sound negative - the location was GREAT - just trying to give a truthful assessment.

Best spot on PEI!! You cannot beat the location of this home. We loved our time at this home. We spent mornings walking along the boardwalk, crossed the road to the beautiful national park beach in the afternoons, and checked out the local restaurants and shopping. One of our favourite parts of our vacation was sitting on the deck and watching the lobster fishing boats pass by the front yard. The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We’re already planning our next trip back!

COULDN’T HAVE BEEN BETTER!!!!

This property is NOT just about the perfect location, there is a lot to be said for the bay 50 meters from the front deck with a lighthouse, fishing boats coming and going, along with the tide levels all kinds of wildlife...eagles, herons, fox . Then there is the beautiful beach 200 meters behind, a long sandy and clean area. The beach has a lifeguard on duty, The location makes all the services of North Rustico accessible by walking. This property is well kept, solid, clean & private, VERY well equipped and is capable of sleeping up to 8 persons, if you can manage only 2 bathrooms...it has modern windows, ceiling fans & AC. It also has a great library of books, a large kitchen table, a bbq and lots of seating both inside and out. All in all, our group was REALLY REALLY happy with this property!!!
